No jobs, no economy, no prospects for peace or life in US
Press tv - Iran ^ | 3/8/2014

.... No greater threat to life on earth exists than the utter fools in Washington. The American sheeple who belong in the streets more than the people in any other country are content to suck their thumbs while “their” government destroys not merely their economic future but also the prospect for life for themselves and their progeny.

Boy, did they ever get this part right! It's...unexpected!

Over the decades various US administrations, seeking to improve their economic record, monkeyed with economic statistics to the point that the statistics are no longer meaningful.

There are fools in government, but an awful lot of other fools voted them to office. It will be a long and hard road back to a decent America. Evil on the Throne - Good (decency and truth) on the Gallows. Will be difficult to reverse.

Well, I have to disagree on one point.

The Afghan war as been a great success for new world order CIA / drug lords; the US military has done a fine job protecting their opium production.

Part of the consequence of globalization is that when it comes to Psyop, the doors are wide open on a global scale. Unless the US introduces heavy filtering (which the government has given itself the power to do as in China - they control the only four major servers that feed all Internet communications in and out of the US), you will see intentional targeted foreign psyop on the US public, but also mere media spill over from abroad that isn't by design. Then again, this isn't necessarily a bad thing always.

“Then again, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing always. “

Especially if you have to get you “real” US news from the UK, Germany, or (truly mindblowing) Pravda.

It’s like “radio free Europe”, in reverse.

No jobs, no economy, no prospects for peace or life in US

But we can be thankful that obamaramadingdong can constantly hit the links with no blowback from liberals like Bush got and can take many vacations all over America and the world without the hate received by Bush for going to his own ranch.

The unforeseen consequences of half baked policies from Washington that are shifting every three years, based on merely what “sounds good,” and looking for easy low cost solutions that aren’t to messy. Doing things right in Iraq or Afghanistan would have required a level of commitment that is incompatible with the US political process where opposition politics and a rapid turn over within the bureaucracy inevitably rip any long term commitment apart. Obama, or even foreign politicians like the former German Schroeder built their political career or re-election on such opposition politics. The entire 2004 Kerry campaign was based on opposition politics to the Iraq war...

Closing ones eye’s and making compromises is a way to disengage, to minimize the level of commitment required, to reduce the pain level, timeline etc... We are even under the table talking to the Taliban, why? Because we are looking for a way out and if we were to push on the Opium production we would get push back (we would end up fighting more, more IEDs, more mortar attacks, more RPG attacks...). This isn’t so much that the US government is profiting from opium production (the conspiracy theories), but rather that she is trying to “pick her battles,” and if some guy is making his money from opium production, but is generally a “not so bad guy,” we don’t start a fight with him too. Trying to fight everyone all at the same time generally brings bad results, so one can make an argument for such an approach, albeit it entails compromises and shades of grey which in a moralistic black and white world we don’t want to deal with.

American news media is journalism, i.e. extrapolates, conjecture, talks about feelings, the opinions of so called experts... It is NOT reporting, i.e. just the facts ma’am.

American news media is in bed with the government to a large degree. i.e. access for play along (you see this in the White House press briefings and elsewhere)

You have a very lazy and unprofessional media, i.e. no real credentialing or licensing, no subject mater experts in what they journal on, very time sensitive (must be the first with the story - but is often factually incorrect), they give preference to stories that sell (it’s all about selling commercial time after all) so significant stories go untold because their is no video while the irrelevant is discussed for weeks because it’s a celebrity crotch shot. Without conflict of some sort, you have no story, so the media creates conflict and they inflate stories.

The US news media is nearly worthless. We might as well watch the cartoon network to get ones news. Not even the weather or traffic is presented without sensationalism. Frankly, there is near zero actionable information (stuff that should tell you how to behave or influence decision making) in the “so-called” US news media. Other than a bunch of pretty faces that are demographically representative of their audience, and speaking really fast, with super saturated colors and constant movement in the background to keep your attention, they really tell you nothing, even if you watch them all day.

Reporting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7a1AZomUH8 (loaded with facts, no opinions) After watching this, you actually “know” something.

Modern Journalism: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nV4I4TYXlw (loaded with opinions, feelings, conjecture, and no more than serious looking talking heads with expensive hair-dues)

The fact that I agree with with even a smidgen of an official organ of the Islamist/Fascist Theocracy in Tehran really, really p!sses me off.

The country's gone to hell to such an extent that the entire world laughs at us...and for the most part they don't even have to lie.

I've never seen anything like it in my entire life. Only the contemporary observers of Rome could have been nearly as mystified.

And we're bigger than Rome by a long shot.

Right? They’re experts on the subject. My last accounting is stale- at the time of the previous election when POS Ahmadinejad (”An”) was “re-elected”. But anyway, their economy was dismal; no jobs; maybe they had no current hot conflicts with other countries going on, but (as usual) the Persians could hardly be described as “living in peace”. They were terrorized & brutalized by their own government on a daily basis.
They managed to eek out a life, as best they could, but were constantly under threat of being arrested, beaten, tortured, raped & sodomized (both men & women) if they so much as blinked in an “unapproved” way.

Are we as bad off? We’re getting there. If something doesn’t change soon, we’ll find out what hell is *really* like.

This doesn’t mean that I “agree” with them in any way, shape, or form. But it takes one to know one. If anything, they’re gloating.

I wouldn’t worry about Islam in Iran.

I’d worry about financial elite/CIA-backed Islamic terrorism, which has a “legitimate wing”, e.g., muslim brotherhood, et.al, that is powerful inside the UK and US so much so that it’s connected to the very top of business and government.

Don’t worry though, it has nothing to do specifically with the Obama administration, the relationships go back a hundred years.

The Bush family is especially close with the elites of Islam.

But I shouldn’t pick on them, per se, since all elites are in their own little club that gladly accepts any religion, as long as you’re ok with their fabianesque scheme.

That's pretty much the story that is fed to the sheeple, word for word. And it would be a good story were it not for the fact that since the US could use, oh, I don't know... ITS INTELLIGENCE SERVICES... (let's see... drones, monitoring communications, financial transactions, shaking down people to get them to talk, etc.) the drug operations could be reduced to nothing rather easily.

You can't hide a poppy field. You have to pick the poppies, process them, pack and ship them.

Aerial surveillance anyone ???????

A few more IEDs would be like shooting spitballs against a US force of tens of thousands, air support, spy networks, satellites, etc., etc., etc.

The technology for dealing with these things has gotten better and better and better..... etc.

If you stop to think about it, and really honestly think about it....

There was a NIE (national intelligence report to the President) at the end of Klintoon that labeled AIDS in Africa as a "national security" crisis for AMERICA. We're in this trillion dollar "war on global warming" because it's "vital to the safety of the world". Sounds like a 1940's war movie ! We're saving the world !

We have to have our brains in our @ss if we don't think that rampant heroin use in America is not a problem that, while we're hangin' out in Afghanistan watchin' the poppies grow, spending a cool trillion or so, we could maybe turn off the production right were we have a massive military force.

To start to fit the puzzle pieces together (difficult for the sheeple, none of our pieces fit, we're looking at the wrong side, etc.), we could start by reading up on some history, say of BCCI. Rather than pass it off as a few "rogue corrupt actors", if we really get into the testimony, find out what people admitted to, since they are undoubtedly hiding even more, we get into some very serious implications.

Perhaps remember that March Rich received a Presidential pardon. We'd have to do some digging to actually understand what that implies.

The more you research, and pick out just the facts and discard speculation, the worse it looks.

Sorry for the rant !

The bulk of the power of the muslim world is tied in with the financial elites of new world order: Egypt, Saudis, Iraq, etc.

It’s not just political ties, its business ties, the wealth of the oligarchs that run those countries.

For example, MB was tied in with British Intel from the get go in the 1920s. The elites’ oil companies started setting up deals in the ME that long ago as well. The idea is to extract the natural resources as cheaply as possible, and the populations are amenable to being ruled by dictators, so...

Generation of terrorism became a key project of the elites again after the Soviet “changover”.

The “terrorists” are then pursued by governments, for example, the TSA was formed. Terrorism thus has 2 key benefits for new world order: increased acceptance in the population for a police state (stepping a little closer) and enormous government spending, which always benefits nwo.

The irony in this story is that the Taliban historically were against opium production. Some of our allies such as the Northern Alliance (which helped bring down the Taliban), were big producers and you can read about this as far back as 2001: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2001/nov/25/afghanistan.drugstrade

Intelligence is nice, in WWII it let the Germans know that there was a huge invasion in Normandy, or that Stalingrad was surrounded and the 6th Army was about to be swallowed up. Intelligence doesn’t fight the fight for you, and we can only afford and deal with so much at once. The US Army and Marine Corps were already stretched to their limits in 2003 - 2011 committed in the Sinai, Balkans, Korea, Somalia, Sudan, and fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Philippines (Abu Saeff) all awhile still conducting things like evacuation operations in Liberia, post tsunami assistance etc. While our casualties were in all reality below any threshold of real statistical concern, the burn out on troops deploying repeatedly was real, so were the operational costs, and the political damage. Pushing harder would have required more troops (which we didn’t have) and would have gotten us more casualties, and more political damage.

We live in a world with finite resources. How to best allocate them, matters. Picking a fight with everyone we disagree with in “any aspect,” might not be the smart thing to do.

“in WWII it let the Germans know that there was a huge invasion in Normandy”

They were fed false information on that one, were expecting it in another area.
