RNC building list of voters who lost insurance due to Obamacare
The Washington Examiner ^ | March 8, 2014 | Joel Gehrke

Republican National Committee data operatives will build a list of the millions of Americans who have lost insurance policies due to Obamacare in order to help their candidates win over these voters at the ballot box in 2014 and 2016.

"Getting that information [on plan cancellations] and having good data as to who votes, who doesn't vote, voter registration, party affiliation, consumer characteristics, cross-referenced with that kind of information, I think, is important for us to have," Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus told the Washington Examiner after his CPAC panel presentation Saturday morning.

It's early in the process, though, because the cancellations are still taking place.

Priebus said the RNC's data goals won't be hindered by the leftward lean of many tech staffers. "We have not had a difficult time finding data scientists and software engineers," he said. "We've brought in some of the top engineers from LinkedIn, Yahoo, and Facebook that are working on these data projects that we have at the party."

The Obamacare plan cancellations stand to play a crucial role in this year's elections. In Colorado, for instance, almost 250,000 people have received cancellation notices, according to state government officials. One of those people is Rep. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., who recently decided to challenge incumbent Democratic Sen. Mark Udall this November.

Udall is concerned about the plan cancellations, and his office pressed local officials about the validity of the figures, according to reports.

"Sen. Udall says our numbers were wrong," the Denver Post quotes a Nov. 14 email by Jo Donlin, director of external affairs for the state insurance division, as saying. "They are not wrong. Cancellation notices affected 249,199 people. They want to trash our numbers. I'm holding strong while we get more details. Many have already done early renewals. Regardless, they received cancellation notices."

Interesting; very interesting. I'm not in love with the RNC by any stretch of the imagination, but, it looks like they might be doing something right for a change.

Finally, a half way decent GOPE strategery.

They should also generate a list of people who had their rates increase due to having to be Obamacare compliant. Mine went from $800/month to $1,600/month.

Funny.
Given every chance in the past to oppose it, the RNC and GOP leadership yawned at our concerns.
So why should I believe they are serious now?
Cynically, since they have lately played for the other team for the most part, are they making a list of people to penalize for speaking up?

RNC, GOP, you had your chance to block this crap and you failed.
Now you have a strategy to lead from behind like every damn thing the
Dems shove up your waahoo.

You all should be out there raising hell about this illegal law, yet you all
wait and wait, then throw out a couple bumper sticker phrases and go
back into hiding.

America is Sick of your ineptness and servitude as partisan hacks.
You will undoubtedly intentionally throw 2016 because
you will
eventually want the power that you allowed the RAT party to gather for
YOU without a fight!!!

Clarify: ""servitude as partisan hacks"" is how they treat the Conservatives
from the Democrat perspective, yet refuse to battle the Democrats in the same manor.

and having good data as to who votes, who doesn't vote, voter registration, party affiliation,

Well that information shouldn't be too hard to get out of the RNC's "Voter Vault".

IMO, you shouldn't believe that they're serious.
IMO, the Republican party want it to be like abortion or current gun-control laws: always there, as a threat that's just always about to get worse, that only they can stop, so please-please-please vote for them because if you don't these things'll come to pass... even though they do nothing against these when they're actually in power.

Pretty much.
Look for such an electable presidential ticket as McCain/Romney for 2016.

Zactly.
Hence why they are so freaked out over TEA party types.
If it is successful in any goal, it is a harbinger of doom for the con game of “we tried, honest!” by the RNC and GOP.

The sad fact is that those liberals who voted for Obama twice aren’t going to vote republican just because they lost their insurance.

To whose purpose will this database serve?

Consider:

Obamacare has never polled a majority.
Over half of the states opposed it in court.
Rats up for reelection run away from it.
The drive-by media refuse to cover its horrors.
The GOP House continues to fund it.
Obama has unconstitutionally repealed over a dozen sections of it.
Several years after enactment, it is still despised.
Obamacare is literally killing Americans.

What is the GOPE response? Fight it? No. Collect a database of abused citizens. Obamacare is a gift to the GOPE that keeps on giving. They'll never honestly work to repeal it.

That would make a great series of five second campaign commercials:

“I’m Adam Anderson, colon cancer, lost my insurance to ObamaCare” . . .

“I’m Bob Butler, muscular dystrophy, lost my insurance to ObamaCare” . . .

“I’m Carla Cole, diabetes, lost my insurance to ObamaCare” . . .

Start each RCN ad with one of these and run so many hundreds (thousands) of ads that people notice it’s always a different person and there are lots of them. They could put a bunch of victim compilations on YouTube “Lost to ObamaCare ‘A’ Victims” through “Lost to ObamaCare ‘Z’ Victims”, and people would watch enough to get the message and talk about it. I’d love to see a human face on the destruction Obama has inflicted on American families.

Not really onto a good thing because it’s another list you’re name could be on. I’m sick of all these lists. It’s no one’s business if I lost insurance or not. If I wish to share that information with them, it’s one thing. If I don’t wish to share, then keep your nose out of my business and don’t put me on another #*%&@ list for any and all to see.

Yep - they're losing anyone who tends to conservatism so they're building a mailing list to solicit funds from other sources.

That might be worth something if the Republicans were actually going to fight Obamacare.

They are not with Rinos in charge and helping dems. So there is no point in this list until conservatives get back in charge of the republicans.

FALSE ADVERTISING

I bought a Catastrophic Only policy from EHealthNet for $84 a month, he is 29 and NEVER goes to a doctor. I just wanted this in case he broke a bone, or had to go to a hospital, like major injury or major illness, not for every sniffle and sprain...

We got the letter, I still have it, from the insurance company, Due to the new A.C.A. law your policy is no longer compliant with the health care law. They offered us a new one, double the price $166 a month.

Deductible went from $4500 per year to $6350.

New policy out of pocket $8432.00 PLUS Co Pays for doctor visit, tests, drugs.
Old policy out of pocket $5508.00 Plus co Pays etc.
So it is additional $2924.00

Plus he can only have this policy till he turns 30 in May, then he would have to choose a bronze, silver, or gold plan.
Catastrophic is only for healthy people 29 and younger.

This is an individual policy, and it includes for a SINGLE MAN
IUDs
birth control pills
maternity care
pediatric vision
pediatric dental

He Cannot Use ANY of those New Things!

So clearly he would be paying for the single sluts who use all those things.

Plus, they keep saying you can’t be charged more by your age. NOT TRUE! I have the charts here from the insurance company, and the rates for people under 20 are much lower than people who are over 60. The rates go up by your age. Starting at about $250 a month for gold plan for pediatric, up to about $2200 for gold plan for people over 60.

It is a different price by your ZIP CODE. There are at least TWO zip codes for Los Angeles! And he is in Orange County so his rates are different still!

And they say you can’t be asked about Pre-existing condition! Another LIE! There were about ten pages of questions on his insurance policy application about health. Going back TEN YEARS! Heck we don’t remember every sniffle he ever had going back almost half his life!

I have all of this here, the cancellation letter, the charts with monthly premiums by your zip code and your age. And the questions about Pre-Existing Health Conditions.

Harry Reid LIES
