yes, but- if the plane was on autopilot, it should have kept flying. Payne Stewart’s plane with dead crew and pax flew almost cross country before it crashed out of fuel

unless they realized something was wrong and co pilot tried to manually turn around and then passed out- just explains maybe the mumbling

An F-16 had intercepted Payne Stewart’a plane and saw that all the windows had frosted over, an indication of sudden decompression resulting in hypoxia. Stewart’s plane continued flying until it ran out of fuel. Everyone who was on board that plane was probably already dead due to hypoxia before it finally crashed.
