Nancy Pelosi said Americans would find out all about ObamaCare if Congress would only pass the bill. Now were finding that some seniors will not be allowed to spend as much as they choose to on their health care even if theyre willing to pony up for it. !
Turns out that with ObamaCare, even if you qualify for health care you just might not get any..
A new report by the Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics at National Right to Life titled The Affordable Care Act and Health Care Access in the United States, analyzes four fundamental policy areas of Obamacare.
It finds several ways that the federal health care law will drastically limit access to life-saving medical treatment under the law.
These four areas include: the excess benefit tax coming into effect in 2018, the current exclusion of adequate health insurance plans from the exchanges, present limits on senior citizens ability to use their own money for health insurance, and federal limits on the care doctors give their patients to be implemented as soon as 2016.
Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life, said that for pro-life Americans concerned about the impact on innocent life both born and unborn the policies of Obamacare couldnt be worse.
Americans are just as concerned with the laws impact on our ability to access life-saving medical treatment for ourselves, our family members, and our loved ones as with Obamacares funding of abortions. Obamacare is bad medicine for America, she said.
Pelosi famously said Congress should pass the law so Americans could find out what was in it, and its unpleasant surprises have been shocking citizens ever since.
The study finds, for example, that the Independent Payment Advisory Board, which starting next January is supposed to make recommendations to slow the growth in national health expenditures, will set quality and efficiency standards for hospitals and demand that doctors meet government minimums in order to contract with any qualified health insurance plan.
Essentially, doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers can be told by Washington just what diagnostic tests and medical care are considered to meet quality and efficiency standards. These standards will be enforced not just for health care paid for by federally funded programs like Medicare, but also for health care paid for by private citizens and by the health insurance they or their employers purchase, the study explains.
These standards are specifically designed to limit the funds that Americans may choose to spend on health care so that they cannot keep up with the rate of medical inflation. Treatment that a doctor and patient deem needed or advisable to save the patients life or preserve or improve the patients health, but which runs afoul of the imposed standards, can be denied, even if the patient is willing and able to pay for it, the study warns. The study says that means that Washington bureaucrats will set a national standard for care that is designed to limit what private citizens are allowed to spend to save their own lives.
Next will be bh0’s ‘stroke of the pen’ ordering that all seniors be —— Just too nasty of a thought to post.

FYI, many seniors are paying a lot more re: healthcare now, while being denied services previously given... and needed.
Will pass this on,
True, but don’t overlook the benefits.
Every year sliced off the lifespan is a HUGE plus for SocSec and Medicare funding.
When the millenials get nervous about granny’s early demise, the regime will offer them some groupons for student loan relief.
“In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” - George Orwell
Are you afraid to commit a revolutionary act?
Seniors’ healthcare will be determined by how likely they are to make it to the next election.
No need to waste resources on non-voters.
un frickin believeable
Revolutionary, no; vulgar, yes
Hussein was clear about his expectations at a Town Hall meeting years ago. He said elderly patients would be urged to “take the blue pill” (or something like that). Basically, do the right thing and off yourself.
1. seniors often tend to vote Republican
2. seniors are evil because they often tend to have more money
3. seniors are no longer useful to the State
4. seniors will cost the state more money to keep them alive
5. seniors tend to remember when the Transformed Amerika was still a constitutional republic
6. seniors may remember when the D party was still pro-American and pro-God (at least aspirationally or theoretically)
7. seniors may remember when basic moral values were at least respected (if not universally followed all the time)
8. seniors tend to think they know how to do things better than young “community organizers” of unknown origin (and any of same’s IslamoNazi or communist Czars or apparachniks)
9. seniors often like to drive global-warming type cars
10 seniors can frequently just be in the way of Progress(ivism), generally
11.seniors tend to have too much time on their hands to begin with
12.seniors tend to waste a lot of time playing cards and (oops!?) golf, and finally
13.seniors are only willing to vote one time per election, even if you can somehow con them to voting for you.
so there’s no surprise... Obamacare’s death panels and other wonderful provisions will just cull the herd is all
If you have your own money to spend on health care, it is time to exploer “medical tourism” i.e. go offshore. The prices are cheaper and the medicine is as good as a few years ago in the USA. It is where our best doctors are or will be going. American doctors will mostly head for the Caribbean. English and Canadian doctors mostly went to India and Thailand. For younger folks international health insurance is available and not terribly expensive.
What a colossal mistake the American public made! With their heads firmly up their anal passageway, they marched to the polls and voted for the biggest disaster this country has ever seen!
-—> Death Panels.
“The president’s specific words: I’m really good at killing people, authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann write”
Maybe Cuba can actually get a great Health Care System for tourists.
That’s just what this is, only slowly.
Sad part is that a good number of those who voted for him don’t yet realize what a mistake that made. They will find out when they get sick and there is no health care for them. There will have to be some catastrophic consequence to them personally before they wake up. By then it will be too late.
Seniors were educated before the public schools and colleges were converted to indoctrination centers for socialism, homosexualism, recreational sex and anti-Americanism, and before many dedicated, patriotic educators were replaced with drug addled 60's hippies, Affirmative Action numb-skulls and union stooges.
A number of the Caribbean countries have changed their laws and tax codes to attract expatriate American doctors.
