North Korea’s regime is not really Communist; its an Asian family monarchy combined with the worst features of the Nazi hero worship of Hitler.

In a totalitarian society, people think the authorities are always right. Its just well knowing the fate awaiting you if you cross the line. And in North Korea, even the elite live in constant fear.

Terror is what sustains the regime along of course with boundless love of the demi-god ruler.

It reminds me of the only two rules that matter. Rule number one: The authorities are always right. Rule number two: In the unlikely event the authorities are wrong, rule number one applies.
