Details concerning the sudden, Saturday disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight 370 continue to trickle in. Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, the head of Malaysia's Civil Aviation Authority, said the missing Boeing 777 carrying 227 passengers an "unprecedented mystery."
In short: We have no idea where the plane is, where the passengers are, or if they're even alive.

Shortly after reports of the plane’s disappearance began, someone Tweeted that the plane has landed in extreme south Vietnam.
That rumor was quickly quelled by the ‘officials’.

Hmmm. Since they can’t seem to find any evidence of an ocean crash, maybe the plane did land in some remote land area and is being hidden in a big pole barn.

Chance of any mishap is just as likely as a gay guy from Africa becoming POTUS.
Does anyone know if the 777 is heavily composite materials vs. traditional aluminum skinned aircraft? Would a composite materials aircraft blow up better? Do composites burn real good?

weird coincidence. As I looked at ackmed’s smoke, I started to actually smell smoke. It took me a minute to realize that our houseguest downstairs had lit incense and it wafted up. (Politely asked her to put it out). That would have been a unique special effect for a post, though.
Translation: Bombed. End of story.
Here’s what happened...
Hijacked, all electronic comms shut down and the flight was taken below radar.
Plane was taken to somewhere and landed. All passengers have been murdered and the plane is being relabeled with new paint and identity.
Said plane will be loaded with explosives and flown to the US or EU for an Al Qaeda attack.
Just like in the movies.
