New information on two passengers from Malaysia Air Flight MH370 — which disappeared without a trace off the coast of Vietnam on Friday — raises the possbiilty the plane was bombed as a terrorist test run. If confirmed, the guilty organization’s silence means more attacks may be forthcoming.
While reports remain unsettled, most agree that two unknown individuals purchased tickets for the flight stolen fake Italian and Austrian passports. More ominously, the tickets were purchased together through an Iranian middleman, known to a travel agent only as “Mr. Ali.”

And then what?
How many obscure locations are suitable for landing a B777 unnoticed? How many if you plan to refuel and fly somewhere else? What do you do with the passengers?
Plus, even with the transponder off, there would have been primary radar echoes as it descended towards the deck.

Well Vietnam has lots of them. They might not be in the best of shape since they are left over from the Viet Nam war, but then if a group of terrorists wanted to set this all up, it is a big possibility, including the repair of the landing site.

KOTA BARU: The authorities here have their hands full after receiving at least two reports from the public that they saw an aircraft flying low on the same day Malaysian Airlines MH370 vanished.
In his report, the owner of a fishing boat claimed that he saw an airplane flying low while he was at sea with a friend about 14.4km from Kuala Besar in Pantai Cahaya Bulan here at 1.30am on Saturday.
Azid Ibrahim, 66, said the aircraft was heading towards international waters.

Maybe the hijacking last month into Europe was a “test run”. The pilot himself hijacked the plane and then claimed a “asylum”. How about this, just land the plane where it is supposed to go, then don’t get back on the return flight!
No crash debris at all has been found at all or any sign thereof so I rule out a crash. Even EgyptAir flight 990 had some, not a lot, of debris floating on the ocean, after the Muzzie dived it into the drink.
I speculate that the aircraft has been either hijacked by the Iranians or stolen with the cap and f.o.’s permission. They turned the aircraft around and flew to a remote airfield in one of many numerous islands in that region of the world, disembarked the passengers, and have loaded an Iranian nuke on board. That 777 will be repainted and re-programmed to look like another legitimate civilian aircraft. Then it will be flown into US airspace and detonated over a large city either in CA or NY. It probably would not be detected until it was too late.
Think of what would happen if this scenario played out.

Your ignorance is kind of showing. Very low flying aircraft are effectively outside what radar can see. A hanger and paint can hide it make its origin like something other than it actually was. Iran is crafty enough and intent enough to do it. I am not saying they are guilty, just do not rule them out.
A commercial airliner needs a big landing strip. I don’t know how much they can push that. They’d have to find a place to land, hide, refuel, dispose of passengers, and take off again for a target or another destination.
The thing that makes you think that the airliner is still in existence is that there’s been zero trace of it found.
It’s rational to think that it crashed, blew up, disintegrated, and they just haven’t been able to find a trace of it.
But, it is possible that zero pieces of it have been found because it did not blow up, crash, disintegrate, etc.
I am no pilot, aviator, navigator...nothing like that. However, it still seems to me that zero trace of an airliner COULD mean that the plane did NOT crash, disintegrate, etc. It could be intact. And, if intact, where is it?

My husband mentioned a book he read in the 70’s with this plot.....are you familiar with it?
He doesn’t remember the name of the book, but the Chinese hijack a plane.......load it with an A bomb, fly it to US and when the Air Force fly close to the plane, the passengers are clearly seen waving from the windows.

Didn’t the Obama administration claim that the underwear bombing, and the Patriot’s Day Boston bombers after him, had NO ties to any larger terrorist organization?

Under your scenario the likely target would be Tel Aviv, not NY or CA. That would fit time, distance and intended target much better. And the Iranian Administration would be able to claim it was in retaliation for Israeli intransigence. And would this administration really even care in the long run?
Iran wants to get America out of the way in order to be able to attack Israel.
