Republican Party Launches Website to Keep Track of Mary Burke's Changing Resume

After another revision to Mary Burke's resume, the Republican Party of Wisconsin is out with MaryBurkeResume.com to help voters keep the changes straight.

RPW's site provides two resumes, one full of red mark-ups that include the various changes and discrepancies in Mary Burke's own account, and a second one that includes just bare-bones details.

The RPW resume is quite creative, and gets to the heart of a candidate struggling to define herself. It shows Burke crossing out connections to Gov. Jim Doyle, it emphasizes her year-long snowboarding sabbatical and tenure as president of a country club, and takes a sledgehammer to her term as a Trek bicycle executive alleging outsourcing jobs to China.

The facetious final version of Mary Burke's resume has in big red letters, "subject to more edits."

On Tuesday, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Dan Bice reported:

In response to questions from the Journal Sentinel, Burke spokesman Joe Zepecki says he erred when he told the paper last year that Burke began working for Trek Bicycle in 1991. Burke is running against Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

Idiot didn’t even have the sense to lock in her name as a web site, so now the WI Republican Party has it to use against her.

To be fair, no candidate could resonable think to tie up “nameresume.com”.

Aside from that, she is going to get clobbered in November. Lots of Democrats might not even show up at the polls if they know she has no chance, and that could help other Republicans on the ballot.

No; she didn’t lock in maryburkeresume.com

If someone else had locked up maryburke.com, she most likely could have gotten a court order directing that maryburke.com be given to her.

I stand corrected. It does appear she did not secure the site maryburke.com

That was a huge mistake.
