This keeps getting weirder and weirder. If true, they were heading for the radical muzzie area of Indinesia, most likely.
If it is terrorism, will China regard it as an act of war?

So the, based on a plane full of gas, it could’ve flown 8-10 hours off course and end up crashing at the Southern part of the Indian Ocean, near Antarctica....

Someone here mentioned the theory that it was hijacked, taken to a lower altitude, and flown to a landing strip somewhere. Then it could be re-painted, re-fueled, and a nuclear bomb could be placed aboard.
Then on to America.
Sounds like something from Homeland, but then so does this story.

Nav systems these days tend not to allow that to be accidental.

Getting stranger... Too bad “homeland’ is busy turning the war on drugs into an excuse for a police state...

Yep. It isn’t like trying to fly with a stopwatch and a compass.

Would it be possible to hide a large airplane at an airport, surrounded by lots of large airplanes? Is it possible that it is known what happened to the plane, but no one is showing their hand?
The longer this goes on, the more possible it becomes that something really crazy happened to that plane.

That plane could be anywhere in the world — 8 to 10 hours worth of gasoline could place it going south of India, across Antarctica, and into southern South America somewhere...

Not a pilot, but pretty sure either you cannot turn off the transponder, or at the very least, it requires a deliberate manual act. The fact that the transponder was off is most concerning.

Two muslims entered the cockpit and killed everyone there, then steered the plane into the ocean, imho.

It’s a possibility someone hijacked the plane ... but how did they keep over 200 persons from using their phones?... surely someone could have notified a family member.

You would think there would have been radio contact. Unless a pilot was in on the scam.

I started thinking that the public is being prepared for something.. I started thinking yesterday that the authorities pretty much know what happened.
