Sharyl Attkisson resigns from CBS after months of talks
Washington Times ^ | Jessica Chasmar

Miss Attkisson had grown frustrated at CBS with what she saw as liberal bias, as well as “an outsized influence by the network’s corporate partners and a lack of dedication to investigative reporting,” several sources told Politico.

The talks went like this.

SeeBS: We love Obama, don’t you? Let’s not cover stories that could harm his presidency and democrats in general.

Atkisson: I’m a journalist. I see the truth.

SeeBS: You’re being very difficult and inflexible. I think we’ve reached an impasse.

She will be hired by FOX by April.

If she is hired by FOX we KNOW the immediate response: “See?? we told you she was biased”

Well, that’s too bad. I hope she has another job lined up somewhere. The big networks really don’t like news reporters who actually want to report the news, and I’m afraid that also applies to Fox, much of the time.

Unless she can do puff pieces for Fox and Friends about Kilmeade wearing plaid or something what would she do? Fox is too busy ignoring most things.

I love it when agenda-driven liberals dismiss non-agenda reporting as agenda-driven.

Months of talks!? What’d they talk about? “Do we have to kiss O’s ass everyday”? “Yes! He’s our king”! 2 seconds later...buh bye.

“She will be hired by FOX by April.”

That will depend on what she was forced to sign in the termination agreement.

The network let her go because it only wants pretty, young, liberal female reporters. Female TV reporters have shelf-life. Being an impartial reporter and one who will not spout the party line considerably shortens that timeline.

Yes, Ms Attkison is still is very good looking woman, but she certainly looked better 20 years ago, as did most people who are her age.

In a normal world, her skills and determination would make her a jewel in any news organization.

But in the world we live in, where there is NO journalistic integrity or investigion, in the propaganda organs that masquerade as 'news' organization, she is a pariah.

Investigative reporting is on hiatus as long as a Dem is in the white house.

Sad to hear. I dropped cable two years ago, partly because FOX was the only thing that had content worth my time (not worth paying $$$ for one channel). Guess I made the right decision.

I don’t know. The older I get the Prettier Older women get.

Let’s hope she doesn’t end up at Al Jazeera. I would rather her become and investigative reporter for fox.

She was a liberal and some network executives that advanced her probably remembered her fondly.

Dunno about that.

Now, now.

CEO Roger Ailes is budgeting “Fox and Friends” to attract the female viewer.

Sharyl is a female, and thus she would automatically be a great addition to the cooking segment of “Fox and Friends.”

However, there are a few of us grouchy males who would rather have her replace Billy O’Reilly as the talking head of “The Factor” than watch her flip burgers for breakfast on the Streets of New York City.

Yeah. I was trying to find an older picture of her. I found that one too but didn’t post it because it is not the most flattering. The hair styles of women are better today....long straight hair....the whole 80s perm thing
and shoulder pads — not so much. I remember watching Sharyl Atkission on CNN back then thinking to myself that she was a babe. This was not the picture I had in my mind. She had longer hair and looked better than this photo shows. Anyhow, I stand by my earlier assertion despite that bad photo.

She should have brought an MP3 player with a record function into every meeting and get them bastards on tape admitting they were mad at her for reporting the truth...

Then she should join the Blaze or Fox and release it....

Those two with meghan kelly and Lauren Green (look her up, you’ll thank me) would make a great show called “The RIGHT View”

And it would probably be entertaining too

No its not. They just investigate more important things. Things like whether a republican shook himself more than 3 times, or washed his hands, after peeing. Or if he might have ever watched Paula Deen.
