2014 Talkers Heavy Hundred!
(Excerpt) Read more at talkers.com ...
#1 Rush #2 Sean #3 Dave Ramsey #4 Savage #5 Beck
Alan Colmbs and Michael Smerkonish beat Dennis Prager?
No Mark Walters from Armed American Radio??
I love that guy!
Recently started getting Michael Savage. Guy is a total boor. Verbal diarrhea.
Don’t ask me... Their listing never made sense to me.
I would put levin on top
could not agree more
Agree. ‘Demagogue’ is not a good enough word.
David Webb is No. 100??????
I see some of my local radio station KFI people on top 20 like Bill Handel and John and Ken
Yeah me too where is ole Levin
Limbaugh and Levin are my favorites.
True, same with Curtis & Kuby of WABC, and many other local talents with big following.
Savage is #4 ??? Good grief.
One I like is Jason Lewis.
I didn’t know Jason Bourne had a radio show.
Joe Pags 37??
After George Noory at #16 I think I counted about 10 that I had even heard of.
Randi Rhodes at #63, way to high.
Another Jason Lewis fan here. I guess I’m a little biased as I’ve listened to him for years here in the Twin Cities. Except for his time out in the Carolinas. :)
Bauerle at #92...well done Tom.
Dana Loesch beats Don Imus
I am surprised that the RINO Hugh Hewitt did not make the top 100.
I see Air America is well represented on this list.
I just found out about Michael Berry about a year ago and he’s got some good material. I especially love when he goes after SJL and that “I been witch hunt” lady, I think she’s from a gulf state but not Texas.
Berry is a breath of fresh air with a unique style.
John Hancock isn’t as bad as I thought he was going to be. Actually he’s getting better. He is certainly much better than the two idiots who were in this time slot earlier. Jason Lewis was great. Maybe John will be okay too.
Hey, John, are you a Freeper?? If not, it is in your interest to be a freeper.
The Great One is #6! That’s a tragedy. He should be #2 or tied with Rush for #1.
Michael Berry ain’t shy that’s for sure.
When you say two idiots, do you mean Brad and Brett? They’re on 6-9 and those guys are so easy to kick around. Call up, make some slightly outlandish statement, and when they insult you, call them sexist. Their brains will rupture.
“I didnt know Jason Bourne had a radio show.”
He found his identity?
Yea I saw that also. Really like Pags on the weekend.
Chris Plante 73??? He should be much higher than that on WMAL in the DC/VA/MD market.
I have better things to do than call those two idiots. A small part of me feels sorry for them. They should be on the radio in New York or New Jersey. People up there will appreciate them. Maybe.
I think Noory should be in the top 5, and most of the top ten in my opinion are over-ranked.
I’ll go with Rush #1.
Sure #2 for Hannity. But I’d then bump Noory all the way up to #3.
#2 Sean #3 Dave Ramsey #4 Savage #5 Beck
I remember when he was a night sub at KGO. I used to follow him closely and loved him. He was later at KSFO, and then went national. Then he basically went nuts.
He’s a terrible boss —extremely mean and vindictive. He’s also politically unreliable. Good story teller? Absolutely.
Rush is pure class and LOYAL to his people —any of his people. Does not surprise me at all that his maid was scoring pills for him back when he had that problem —people who KNOW Rush can’t help but love him. I mean, ANYONE that gives him a chance. He overpays them and loves them, nurtures them.
Back in Sacramento when he was nobody it was cool in town to marginalize and insult Rush —there was simple envy, but it was ideology also.
He was poor and when he tried to drive to Tahoe (high in mountains) his beater boat car overheated. He lived in Rio Linda (that’s an actual place and I will aver that it’s a sh*thole) cuz he couldn’t afford anywhere else —it was that bad. He was invited to a fancy dinner in Granite Bay, that’s where Sacramentans live if they’re super rich:
They were all powerful and influential, and Rush at first thought it was a lucky break —he was flattered and honored. The host —a media big-shot— pushed everything off the conversational plate at this dinner party and spent THE ENTIRE DINNER telling Rush how stupid he was and how his show would NEVER succeed.
And Rush showed class, and didn’t throw a scene and get mad, and he just smiled and took it. For HOURS.
Rush’s life is a story in tenacity and heroism —I will never stop loving Rush Limbaugh, the great conqueror who never forgot his friends and was a Good Winner.
I think Rush needs to think about making a anime cartoon pilot to later complement his soon-to-be shattering success in kids books.
Agree. Limbaugh #1, Levin #1.0002.
People should check out the Rabbi Daniel Lapin —noted author and politically conservative fan of Christians everywhere.
He is on KSFO 560 AM, Sundays only, from 5 am - 8 am.
I set my alarm, wake up on Sunday and drive my car in the dark to a place where my radio can get him and I park, just to sit there and listen —I’m serious.
He is that good.
I would say he is on the level of Rush Limbaugh, in fact, although comparatively an unknown in the radio world:
Woo Hoo...Armstrong and Getty were at 55. Glad they made the list. There show has been a morning joy for a long time now.
Herman Cain made it too.
Boy, doesn’t take much to get into the ones I’ve never heard of. Embarrassing to see that dolt Eddie Schultz in the top 10 for sure, but if he’s the best liberal talker it really sucks to be them.
It sucks that Larry Elder is #93.
Levin for Attorney General!
Levin is the best.
Agreed. Worst guy ever to hear on the radio. I’ve never heard a bigger gasbag so full of himself, constantly extolling his degrees, and so little to say. Total turn off.
Where is Mark Levin on the list? He should have been at #2.
I just love the way he wants everybody to reach their full human potential. It is wonderfully inspirational.
The other great thing about him is all the charity work he does to fight leukemia and the money he raises for the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. He’s always taking days off to attend some charity event.
The #2 or #3 on the list should be Mark Steyn, Rush’s frequent guest host. He is a real treat to listen to.
Is he the one who’s tagline is “You need a rabbi”?
