I’ve seen several discussions of of this. While the guy is obviously wrong on many levels, as he must be to get a nomination from the failed President Obama, my thought is, “So what?” Surgeon Generals have the authority to run their mouths and little else. It’s not even a bully pulpit and SG’s in the recent past have demonstrated their opinions to be out of the mainstream anyway.
He kinda looks like a telemarketer. I bet he even sounds like the one who keeps calling me asking if I have problems with the wire-mesh surgery I never had.
Without looking it up, can you name the Surgeon General he's replacing? I didn't think so.
Remember the first Surgeon General that Obama hired? The morbidly obese one? She couldn't control what she put into her mouth and she wanted to advise the rest of us about our health?
