I remember Rutgers Newark. I went to New Jersey Institute of Technology, just across the street. I was in Air Force ROTC at the time. Rutgers Newark had one group on campus called the Students Revolutionary Brigade - a bunch of Maoists. And the punks would sometimes pay us a visit.
Her father was also an NRA member, protecting the neighborhood against Bull Connor and the Klukkers.
Have to tell my daughter, a Rutgers grad, about this - she may want to consider it next time they call looking for money, as they do so often.....
