Liberman told Channel 2 that Israel could not abide the firing of dozens of rockets at civilian targets in a single day, and added that the IDF was prepared to take immediate action in order to eradicate the threat of rocket fire from the Strip.
There is no way to avert a full occupation of the Gaza Strip; only then can we ensure that these images do not recur, the foreign minister said. We cannot ignore such an attack, a barrage of 50 rockets and mortar shells.
Islamic Jihad, which took responsibility for the attacks, put the number at 90 rockets.

I’ve been waiting to hear something. I guess it’s considered pretty routine and not news-worthy....until Israel retaliates. Then it’s news.
Go Israel! Annex Gaza and, while at it, annex Judea and Samaria also!
Even though Americans strongly support giving military aid to Israel, what’s the point of doing so if the Israelis refuse to use our armaments to fight their enemies?
If Israel was able to prevail over the entire Arab world in only six days in 1967, they should have no trouble taking out Hamas in six minutes. Why not tomorrow?
As soon as Israel responds back, the whole world cries out ... Oh, the humanity, those poor gazans, and those poor palis ... how could Israel even think to attack such “pieceful peeps”.
Sometimes I wonder just how close the apocalypse could be.
