Ruling pending after immigration hearing for Cinthya Garcia-Cisneros, convicted in Forest Grove fatal crash
A decision remains to be made in immigration court for Cinthya Garcia-Cisneros, the driver convicted of felony hit-and-run in the Oct. 20 crash that killed two young Forest Grove stepsisters.
Garcia-Cisneros, 19, attended a bond hearing Wednesday morning, March 5 at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma. The ruling will determine whether she must remain in custody while her immigration case is pending. She was sentenced in January to three years of probation and 250 hours of community service.
At Garcia-Cisneros' sentencing, immigration attorney Courtney Carter said a bond could cost up to $20,000. Carter has not returned calls for comment.Bridget Cooke, executive director of the nonprofit Adelante Mujeres, attended the hearing with 16 other supporters, family and friends, including four of Garcia-Cisneros' former teachers and Nelson Castro, the Hispanic pastor at Sonrise Church in Hillsboro. "It would benefit the whole community for Cinthya to have an opportunity to complete her sentence," Cooke said. "Consequently, it was important to show the judge that there is...real concern for her well-being and a real interest in seeing the process go forward."
Adelante Mujeres leaders created an online fundraiser Jan. 27, which had garnered $3,409 toward a $5,000 goal with 81 donors as of 1 p.m. Monday. The Forest Grove nonprofit provides education and support services for low-income Latinas and their families.
They also set up a bank account in November to help Garcia-Cisneros' family, which had around $1,500 in donations last week. Cooke said all the money will go toward a bond, if Garcia-Cisneros is released, or other legal fees her family has incurred.

If they can’t raise 5,000 for their hero, how do we expect these Natural Republicans to start businesses?
there is...real concern for her well-being
she killed 2 people where’s the concern for them and their families ???
and yeah we Americans have “a real interest in seeing the process go forward.”
she should be doing time..
preferably back home in a Mexican jail...
If it had been two hispanic kids mowed down by an idiot white teeny bopper all of these ‘concerned’ people would be singing a different tune.
Huh, the DOJ isn’t trying to get her thrown out the country like they did the Christian German homeschoolers.
L/E should determine if this killer, and her family, are paid-up members of hate-filled organizations colluding to launch armed conflict against Americans to takeover the American SW.
AMERICANS ARE ALREADY FUNDING THIS HATE-AMERICA ORGANIZATION W/ A STATED GOAL TO TAKEBACK THE SW: In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given to La Raza chartered indoctrination centers in the form of US Dept of Education grants.
LA RAZA schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan on US soil, and even Aztec math.
In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce the teaching of murder and violence in US public schools, the federally-funded La Raza organization operates 100 charter schools across America. A selection:
Academia Semillas del Pueblo (Los Angeles)
Atzlan Academy (Tucson, AZ)
Mexicayotl Academy (Nogales, AZ)
The Dolores Huerta Prepatory High School (Pueblo, CO)
Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School (St. Paul, MN) =================================================
LA RAZA GORGES AT THE PUBLIC TEAT
<><> The Senate amnesty bill contains a provision to handover $100 million tax dollars (renewable every year) to subsidize La Raza's hate-filled agenda.
<><> the Congressuial Hispanic caucuss has been quiet about his role in financing, and, earmarking the blood-thirsty America-hating La Raza. race-based "La Raza" was given tax dollars and Congressionsl earmarks to finance its so-valled mortgage activities. La Raza's "strategic partnerships with Wachovia and Bank of America forced the frgradayiio pg mortgage-application requirements and documentation standards.......US taxpayers were saddled w/ billions in bailouts which decimatied the US economy.
<><> La Raza aided and abetted latinos falsifying bank documents, resulting in risky loans over the last decade; they forced the lending industrys ruinous dont ask, dont tell policies.
<><> La Raza also collected a $1 million Democratic earmark that funded community-development projects. Analysts report that much of it went to "mortgage counseling."
Another opportunity for the courts and our government to put the interests ahead of murderous illegal aliens ahead of the interests of American citizens whom they have victimized. We are now second-class citizens in our own country.
