"I was in shock. I was outraged and I just assumed kits were being tested," said actress Mariska Hargitay about the thousands of rape kits in Detroit and across the country that have been left sitting in storage without being processed, allowing rapists to remain free to attack again. And they often do.
Hargitay joined Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy to announce legislation that will soon be introduced to state lawmakers that is aimed at setting guidelines and deadlines for rape kits tests to be processed.
"Testing rape kits is vital for keeping rapists off the street," said Hargitay during Monday's press conference.
Over 11,000 sexual assault kits, some dating back to the 1980's, were found abandoned in a Detroit Police storage facility back in 2009.
Not long after the rape kits were discovered, Worthy pushed to start the processing with Michigan State Police.
So far, 1,600 rape kits have been processed, resulting in the identification of about 100 serial rapists and ten convicted rapists

I wonder how accurate the results can be after all that time. I seriously doubt if there is the requisite research on that.
Add to that mixture the mistakes made by labs, witnesses, the rapists and the victims. Also, from what I've read and heard MOST victims are raped by someone close to them. I wonder if that statistic is true as well.

It’s already lost. Has been for some time. Look at it instead as the first steps of rebuilding the country libs and RINOs threw away. It isn’t just semantics. Its a whole different mindset. Offense instead of defense.

I understand people love their country. I love my country. But it simply does not exist anymore. The land is here. The buildings are here. But “America” as I recognize it is long gone. The idea of it is not shared by OVER 47% of this place.
And to be sure, Leave it to Beaver was just a TV show. That America never ‘really’ existed either. the 50s had plenty of problems too...But the ‘America’ I grew up in was a lot closer to the Beav than Reality TV America is to what many of us believe in.
Short of a total collapse and the chaos to follow, I don’t see ‘fixing’ this current place. We have to accept that we live in some bastardized Matrix world of liberal imagining, because it sure as hell isn’t one that the Constitution matters in.
So we have to let it go and BUILD a new one where it does.

2006: 32,443 Whites raped by Blacks, zero Blacks raped by Whites.
2005: 37,460 Whites raped by Blacks, zero Blacks raped by Whites.
2004: 11,611 Whites raped by Blacks, zero Blacks raped by Whites.
2003: 20,309 Whites raped by Blacks, zero Blacks raped by Whites.
Total: 101,823 Whites raped by Blacks. Zero Blacks raped by Whites...
The figures are (mostly) above zero Blacks raped by Whites for other years, into the low thousands, so something is askew, but they are nowhere near the 25k+ per year average of Whites raped by Blacks, an average which is consistent every year.
