Tree-hugging believers
Money-grubbing shysters
Power mad regulators
These people are not only in the U.S. -- the United Nations also thinks it sees a bonanza. If nothing else wakes us up, it should be giving this whacky bunch of third-world petty thieves any more access to our money than they already have. I say move the UN headquarters to Somalia and see how they like parking wherever they want and eating in the best restaurants in Mogadishu.
We should be spending our money adapting to changes in the climate rather than standing on the ocean's shore apologizing to the waves.
We should at least take “man-caused climate change” out of the “motherhood” category and put it in the “let's take a closer look” category. I have purposely not quoted or referred to scientists or scientific consensus. In mathematics one learns that is very difficult to prove a theory, the concepts have to be air-tight, but one contrary fact will shoot it down. The proponents that back their zealotry with smoke-and-mirror graphs and numbers of obscure and iffy origins are far from air-tight and are no match for common sense. Follow the money, follow the power and tell them no sale.

One true story example: A third grade teacher with whom I am well acquainted, actually told me that she wanted to go once again to Alaska to see the glaciers BEFORE they were all gone due to (you guessed it) “Global Warming”. Apparently a school paper (Weekly Reader?) directed to brainwash the young minds of our children had run an article stating the glaciers were all melting and would be a thing of the past, lost into history forever.
(She still teaches)......Frightening!
She's actually a nice person but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gullible.
Suggestion: Time to home school.
Most true believers live in big concrete and steel cities where the temperature is 5 degrees warmer than the surrounding suburbs of their youth, highly concentrated toxic pollution from automobiles is everywhere, and there are way too many angry people in too small a space. From their personal perspective, human caused global warming agrees perfectly with their experience. Where they go off the trolly rails is thinking one size fits all, that 99% of America is experiencing the same thing.

Petroleum products come from tiny marine plants and animals that settled to the bottom of the ocean after dying.
The author’s description of an ancient Arabian peninsula covered by a lush forest is glaringly wrong, at least in reference to petroleum, anyway.
This is exactly the kind of error that Climate Nazis use to discredit people who disagree with their theories.

I have no doubt that at some point in history the Arabian peninsula was a lush forest.
That was not my point.
The petroleum currently being pumped from Saudi Arabia formed when that area was covered by an ocean.
The author clearly implies that the petroleum formed because of an ancient forest.
Coal deposits are formed under ancient forests.
Petroleum is formed at the bottom of ancient oceans.
The author made a very basic mistake - either because she did not know that, or because she was very careless when she edited her essay.
That kind of error or carelessness will be used by Climate Nazis to discredit her entire essay.
“Deniers” is their term, I would never use it.
You don’t even need to a term to describe those that don’t believe in the Easter Bunny, other than “sane”.
