Scott Brown to the rescue (again)?
The Maine-born Republican won a Massachusetts shocker in 2010 to replace the late Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy He lost his seat two years later to far-left Democrat Elizabeth Warren Now Brown has moved a few miles north and aims to return to the Senate He's scheduled to speak late Saturday afternoon at a Nashua, N.H. political event, with GOP leaders calling his Senate candidacy 'a rumor'
It's there that he will announce on Friday afternoon that he's formed an exploratory committee, a necessary step before he can legally hire staffers to massage the media, poll New Hampshire's voters and craft a strategy for unseating Shaheen in November.
'It's going to happen at the Nashua event,' a political operative close to Brown told MailOnline.
'You got it right,' added a state party official, who asked not to be named, inside the hotel where the conference is set to kick off.
While passing the hat is a time-tested proposition for political players, Brown aims to double down on his unconventional 2010 victory over Democratic Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley, whom he trailed for most of the special-election campaign season.
In New Hampshire, too, Brown is already behind the eight-ball. A Suffolk University poll released March 6 showed Sen. Shaheen with a 13-point edge, 52 to 39, among likely voters.
But those percentages are soft since Brown's candidacy was hypothetical, and because they followed on the heels of $360,000 in negative ads run against him in January and February by Democrats and liberal special interests who were spooked by the idea.

Scott Brown: gun-grabber, pro-abortion, pro-gay-marriage.
I won’t be voting for this RINO.
New Hampshire had to import a RINO?
Pretty much the same as Red Hampshire's current congressional representatives...
“Now Brown has moved a few miles north and aims to return to the Senate”
Not a fan of carpetbaggers regardless of the letter next to their name.
There are a LOT of carpetbaggers holding town offices all across Red Hampshire...some are those pothead 'Free Staters', but most are just control freaks from New York and Massghanistan looking for a taste of authority.
Election day is a year and a half away and it's foolish to think anyone has a lock.
This is who I will be voting for in the primary, and I will write-in her name in the general.
Queen Jeanne has to go. Absolutely.
Brown IS RINO-ish, but so is a large chunk of the electorate.
And was he better than Marsha Coakley? Yes. And would he be better than Queen Jeanne? Unquestionably.
Keeping my options open. A six year Senate seat from a small state, where the election may well be decided by a few hundred votes, is a terrible thing to waste.
Ken, The last time I checked, the election is about 7-1/2 months away, not a year and a half.
So it is! However, I still dismiss such predictions.
Didn’t she run for Governor? Red Hampshire would be much better off with Testerman in the State House instead of (spit) Hassan.
Chameleon Brown is the lying Toady of Team Romney,
backstabbers and carpetbaggers for Obama and Soros.
Backstabber Brown FOOLED conservatives once.
Shame on him.
Scott, the other Democrat. Find someone who isn’t.
At least the Rino Brown would b e a vote against Harry Reid and that has to count for something. He may be the best we can hope for, certainly he’s no Ted Cruz, but then who is? Mike Lee and that’s about it !
Scott Brown is a hindrance to conservative ideals. If that’s the best New Hampshire has to offer shame on them.
Send this guy packing.
Pretty amazing that months before any announcement is made, the Dems are already running attack ads against Brown. My guess is that if Brown wins the primary, he's a lock for this Senate seat.
Dennis, anyone losing a race to Elizabeth Warren should not be sen to New Hampshire. This Brown boob should be sent to Devil’s Island and be forced to listen to Pat Boone records for the rest of his life.
So are you saying there is no one in New Hampshire with better conservative values than Scott Brown who can beat Democrats? Certainly majority politics is the smart play, but who will Scott caucus with? Will he support the majority, or slit its throat? I hope the good people of New Hampshire can find a better Republican specimen to work with. Democrat clones do more harm than good.
