From the visuals,looks to me like they dumped fuel and tried to return.
I'm not an aviation expert and I don't play one on T.V.;)

Not if the aircraft pinged for up to 5 hours and you wouldn't turn off both transponders 14 minutes apart (although that could possibly be electrical failure).
I suppose it's possible the aircraft turned into a 'ghost flight' and flew straight until it ran out of gas but that is highly unlikely.

It flew, then it landed and now it is sitting in a hangar somewhere getting ready for its next purpose. Good luck with finding it.

Its probably repainted and being converted to haul a WMD, the next situation will be to just wait this all out and then at the right coordinated moment will insert itself into regular air traffic and head straight for Israel on a mission of mass destruction.

Remember if its part of the ROP they care not for infidels, at all.
Except as possible human shields. And even that is iffy because any nation knowing a jumbo jet is approaching them with a possible nuke and with human shields will get shot down anyway.

Its probably repainted and being converted to haul a WMD EXACTLY my same thought. This plane is in Iran and is being fitted to fly against Israel. The people are likely alive, but I doubt they're alive for long.
