Unite Here, which represents more than 300,000 workers in the hotel, food service, laundry, warehouse and gaming industries, was the nations very first labor union to back Barack Obamas quest for the White House.
It also was one of the foremost supporters of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the signature achievement if it can be described as such of Mr. Obamas presidency.
