BREAKING: ATF Raids Ares Armor In Direct Violation of Court Issued Restraining Order
Gunssavelives.net ^ | MARCH 15 2014 | Dan Cannon

Posted on 03/15/2014 7:21:44 PM PDT by South40

We’ve always said that a restraining order is just a piece of paper. Usually we’re referring to defensive gun uses when we say that. However, in this case we have the government violating a restraining order issued by… the government.

As we reported earlier this week, the ATF has demanded that Ares Armor, along with some other vendors, turn over their customer records in relation to an 80% lower that may have actually been a firearm under law. Ares agreed to stop selling the product in question as well as turn over their stock to the ATF, however they refused to provide their customer records.

Fearing a raid by the ATF after the refusal, Ares sought a restraining in order against the ATF in court. They were granted a restraining order, and both sides were supposed to show up in court next week. However, the ATF didn’t like that one bit. So, what did they do? Oh, just violated the crap out of that restraining order and raided Ares anyway.

Another thread on this says that they got the order rescinded by the judge. That would be a very important fact to look into.

Sorry, but this MAKES SENSE:

What entity that proved able to burn to the ground a church PACKED with believers and kids with almost TOTALY IMPUNITY would not be emboldened?

They literally raised the ATF flag on the still-burning embers?

The entire governmental organ should have been dissolved.

Later they neck-tatooed RETARDED people —that sounds like the Waffen S.S.

Encrypt the customer records and place on a thumb drive.

Lose the thumb drive in an unfortunate boating mishap.

The ATF probably just told the judge “We know where your family sleeps at night.”, and the paperwork started flying. That’s what happens in Venezuela.

Not that there was any doubt, but this is more proof that the ATF is keeping firearm purchase information in a database, contrary to federal law.

You aren't an example for the Bureau of American Tyrants and Fascists until you and your employees have been shot in the head, your business burnt to the ground and the BATF runs their victory flag up the pole.

At the Waco Massacre the ATF went in guns ablazing, mowing done every man, woman, and child in sight.
When the jack booted thugs violated the restaining order (and trampled the Constitution, second amendment) this time I wonder if they employed the same M.O.

Ares Armor
update: The ATF did execute a search warrant against all of our buildings today. None of our employees have been detained or arrested. We will be open for business tomorrow. We will be back up and shipping out orders on Monday. We wholeheartedly believe that they are WRONG in their actions and we will be relentlessly pursuing remedy through the courts. Quote from an ATF Agent during the raid “searching is fun! paper work sucks.” Maybe the ATF thinks the Constitution is part of that paper work that sucks... Despicable behavior on their part. This is just the beginning! Thank you all for the support! -Dimitrios Karras, CEO

illegaly obtained evidence cannot be used as evidence..

It isn't evidence if no crime has been committed. But it is intel, if they got the names/addresses of those who purchased incomplete receivers and subsequently built firearms out of them. They are fishing for raid targets, imho.

Apparently all this began because "one of the council members was upset by the sign". I just got done backgrounding all the council members:

Mayor Jim Wood & Deputy Mayor Esther Sanchez apparently are backed by the unions. The other 3 council members I dismiss as being party to this without more information.

If it's the Mayor, he really put himself 'out there' walking into Ares the way he did. He's not on the MAIG Coalition List (I downloaded the Member Coalition list Bloomberg deleted from the MAIG website in January, current a/o November 1, 2013, if anyone needs it).

My $$ is on Deputy Mayor Ester Sanchez.

These are her 'endorsements' for her 2012 election:

Mayor Jim Wood, City of Oceanside
ACTION
Team Oceanside
Sierra Club
League of Conservation Voters
Veterans Democratic Club of San Diego County
Carlsbad-Oceanside Democratic Club
Democratic Party of San Diego County
Labor Council of San Diego and Imperial Counties
Oceanside City Employees Association

Oceanside Police Officers Association
Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC)
Mexican American Business & Professional Association

I have seen the Ares unfinished AR-15 receivers. It is made of polymer with the void spaces for the trigger/safety filled with another color polymer. The customer simply drill out most of the filler plastic, and when sufficiently thinned out simply use a plyer to pull the filler plastic out yielding a reasonably machined void space. The filling that plugs the bottom trigger slot will pull out when the filler plastic rennants is pulled. The customer simply drill out the pin holes to complete the receiver. I think the ATF will contend that the receiver is more then 80 percent complete because the void space for the trigger/safety was already complete and filled with another polymer plastic. It is no different then someone completing most of an aluminum receiver and filling the void space with wax and claim the receiver is 80 percent complete. Problem for ATF is did they approve the polymer design for sale to public. Possible that they reviewed the approved product and changed their minds. That has happen before and the manufacturer does not get a refund for the products made and sold before the ATF changed their minds on their own approval.

Holder was one of the leaders of the Waco debacle, so yes - promotions for all of the American Nazis.
Janet Reno marches in front of the Media and says, 'I take responsibility' - in order to shield the Hill and Bill team from the fallout. In this case 'I take responsibility' translated to squat.

There may be no justice on the side of the grave, but unless there is heartfelt repentance and the Saviour takes their sins - they will pay.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

The mag well and fc group void is molded of one color and then the receiver is molded around it. It was never a completed receiver to start.

There is a difference between vengeance for satiating the ego and violence to protect what is good and innocent.

If someone offends me I should not retaliate. But that does not mean I am allowed to be a pacifist. If someone is trying to rape a child I am morally obligated to stop them by any and all means. If a group of fools and miscreants is attempting to destroy the culture and usher in an oppressive and Godless police state I am morally obligated to destroy that attempt.

The Bible has to be taken as a whole and there is more to it than “turn the other cheek”. It is hard to figure out when the time for war will come - but at some point....

I read somewhere that the ATF went back into court for a clarification of the order, and that thereafter, they were permitted to execute a search warrant.

I read that the hearing for same was ex parte.

What gives when counsel is known? Not even a telephone conference for a clarification?

1) I believe that is in fact what they're contending.

2) According to Ares, EP foresaw that ATF might say that, and molds the receiver AROUND the plug, so that there is never a moment that the receiver exists as a standalone entity. According to Ares, ATF was made aware of their misconception and forged ahead anyway, as if their idea were correct, as opposed to bullshit.

I had read that Ares had some facility in Oceanside, but supposedly the friction over the sign and the municipal Nazis telling them they “didn’t approve” of them or of guns and that they should cease business or risk jail (how’s that for muni megalomania — their whims and preferences can be enforced just like actual laws!) was the city of National City. A fight with that city could certainly have led to a BATF raid of another facility owned by the company.
