The solution is to immediately seize all records and data everywhere of all government agencies, fire all managers receiving a government paycheck (federal, state, local), from the lowest to the highest, in all disciplines to include the military, IRS, CIA, FBI, etc., who are Democrat voters, and lock down their retirement accounts. If and when they sue and win, don’t pay em. Replace them with non-Democrat voters. Shut down the EBT system, immediately. Make the Mexican border a free-fire zone. Start up the largest series of investigations in history at all levels up to the Presidency. This would be a good start.

The truth is Obamacare and many of the progressive programs would be gone today if the Republicans had the guts to play politics the way the Democrats play it. If they were playing hardball like the Democrats the Republican Congress elected in 2010 had passed a balanced budget in 2011 that defunded Obamacare, slashed spending at the regulatory agencies, ended grants to community organizing groups, and downsized the bureaucracy by cutting out entire departments whose useful life is at an end (Education, Labor, HUD, Commerce, EPA, OSHA, much of HHS, Energy, Agriculture). Once they passed the budget they would have adjourned telling the Senate and the President this is the only appropriations bill you’ll get. The Democrat Senate would have declined to pass it, shutting down the government. The House would have taken the shutdown heat for 2-3 weeks and Boehner would have told Harry Reid and the press everyday all he has to do to open the government is pass the budget that’s on his desk. Given no choice Reid would have had to pass the bill and Obama would have had to sign it.
instead the Dems turned the tables on the Republicans. They refused to take any appropriations bill that didn’t meet their terms. The Republicans, afraid of being accused of shutting down the government caved and passed the appropriations bill Obama and the Democrats wanted.
Control over appropriations and taxation is a huge power if one will use it. The Founders purposefully gave those powers to the “people’s” House. The only way the progressive destruction of America will be halted is through the appropriations process (i.e. cut off the money). The Republicans have that power today if they have the courage to use it and stand tall in the face of a blistering media assault when the do. Ultimately if they stand tough they will win.
The fact they won’t do it and take the heat indicates they are complicit. Remember when Bush II was President and Hastert was Speaker, the Republican House and Bush went on a spending spree. Earmarks galore, new domestic spending programs, and Bush never once took out his veto pen. Electing a Republican Senate and President is not the answer. The House of Representatives doing its constitutional job and passing a responsible appropriations bill is the solution. All it takes is leadership and patriots who care more about the future of the nation than their own reelection and doing the bidding of Wall Street.

I think it's very recent that Freepers did nothing but bitch. Used to be Free Republic scared the Dems as Rush, they were quoted on shows, they raised tons of cash for good causes, and their internal conversations were always civil.
If we don't fight to get FR back how are we going to take on the Democrats. I recommend a purge of sorts. Set up rules of civility, not that they can't rail against anyone they want but if they personally attack fellow conservatives, call them names, beat them into the ground at every opportunity, then those attacks need to be stopped. Even on FR, they affect some and they run off a lot of good people. It was horrible last election.
