The untold side of the Brannon case (NC Senate)

In the game of politics, perception is reality. Truth is an afterthought. And much of the mainstream media are more than happy to spin, omit and deceive in order to propagate their progressive political agenda.

Take, for example, the recent attention Republican Senate hopeful Dr. Greg Brannon received as he had his day in court. If you only read what some of the larger news organizations published about the civil case, you might have thought Brannon enjoyed kicking puppies in his spare time. There’s more to this story, though, and it might be news to you, although it’s not news to those who’ve turned to alternative information sources in their pursuit of truth. Reliable blog posts and Internet talk radio shows have proven they give a broader perspective on the happenings of Brannon’s civil case.

Pete Kaliner, a North Carolina radio talk show host, spent an hour with Robert Rice (http://tinyurl.com/nv3fmff), the CEO of the tech company that the lawsuit centered around. There were 15 investors who lost money when the start-up went belly-up — including Brannon himself and the civil case’s two plaintiffs, Sam Lampuri and Larry Piazza. In the interview, Rice painted Piazza as quite the bully and said that Piazza promised to “ruin” Brannon’s run for the Senate. Of the 15, Lampuri and Piazza were the only two investors who decided to pursue a civil case.

Brannon had been nothing more than a sort of “cheerleader” for the tech firm and had shared information with prospective investors. It’s reported that Brannon and Piazza had been long-time friends, so when the deal fell through, Brannon felt terrible. In fact, Brannon offered to reimburse Piazza, by cashing in his own 401K. Did Piazza take the offer?

As I suspected, the suit was probably a fixed setup to take down a threat to the Republican Establishment's preferred candidate. It seemed at the very moment that Brannon tied or exceeded Tillis against Hagan, this lawsuit popped up.

Just as at the very moment Matt Bevin, tied or surpassed McConnell against Grimes, his TARP signature came out.

And last week, as Ben Sasse rose to the top in Nebraska, stories started to come out saying Sasse "aided in implementing Obamacare"

In my view, it's a nefarious plot to discourage us, to get us scared of "another Akin" etc, and throw our support behind the "safe, established candidate"

It hasn't worked, however. Brannon is still strong, Mike Lee endorsed him AFTER the jury verdict, he's tied with Tillis and there's likely to be a runoff in NC.

Brannon for Senate!!

The mainstream media and the liberal ruling elite ALWAYS tell you who they fear.

A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.

I see the prince of the gOpE, TokyoRove, fingerprints all over this defaming of a solid conservative candidate.

I wish people would stop using the terms liberal and progressive, and call them what they really are “fascists”, “socialists” or even “fascist socialists”.

Oh the other term I dislike is “low information voter”, Rush does truth a great disservice creating new terms to call socialists/fascists in America.

The GOPe of NC are probably wanting to field a candidate that will make “inroads” with democrats, will be everybody’s friend, and won’t scare voters from the RTP & Charlotte areas(a double losing strategy in a midterm election). For midterm elections, a candidate needs to be nominated that will motivate and turn out the base. Not some spineless moderate. That goes for nearly all states and districts.(especially Congressional districts)

As always, a moderate tries their best to make everyone like them, and inevitably ends up being loved by no one. Perfect examples would be Bush 41, Bush 43, and McCain 2008. I’d add Romney to this list, but he was neither loved or liked by much anyone.

Dude... There ARE "Low Information Voters"... As a matter of fact, I'd say that most voters are 'Low Information'. Many of them probably have no idea even WHY they vote. They just know that when they were younger, the TV told them to.

Yeah, like Elizabeth Dole. Didn’t she make you want to march to the polls, torch and pitchfork in hand??

These are the worthless types that the establishment supports, the types that keep the seat from going conservative, who will help the democrats’ agenda until a real democrat can take the seat. Dole succeeded Jesse Helms (who held the seat for 30 years), and was defeated after only six years.

LOL!! ....Yes, that's a PERFECT example of what I was talking about, and I didn't even have her in mind! That just shows how much of a difference SHE made....

If you look back through our history, just how many consequential leaders were moderates? I can't think of any right off hand.

“I prefer to reduce all those terms to the lowest common denominator...Communists!”

There is a difference between communists and fascists, so no.
