Sen. Chris Murphy: Putin making it up
Politico ^ | March 17, 2014 | Tal Kopan

Fresh off a congressional trip to Ukraine, Sen. Chris Murphy on Monday rejected criticisms that Russia’s posture on Ukraine has something to do with the failures of the Obama administration, saying Russian President Vladimir Putin is improvising as he goes. “I think he is making this up as we go along,” Murphy said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” of Putin’s moves into the Crimean region of Ukraine. “I worry, though, that he’s going to realize he needs to move further than Crimea in order to get the end that he desires here.”

Chris Murphy big liberal democrat spewing his bs on Politico a left wing mediot organization. "Sen. Chris Murphy on Monday rejected criticisms that Russia’s posture on Ukraine has something to do with the failures of the Obama administration, saying Russian President Vladimir Putin is improvising as he goes."

The real reality, $inator Murphy is, ""Obama has made it clear to the world that when confronted with a crisis, he will do nothing. This reduces his options to zero and puts the United States and the world into a situation where rogue nations, non-state organizations, and gangs of thugs can do as they please with no fear of any meaningful response from the U.S. It makes the world a much more dangerous place."

Thanks to Daniel Greenfield for the remarks below to explain where we are with Obozo as POTUS in The Post American order.

The Post-American order stands for nothing except its own dismantling. That is why Obama sets red lines that he won’t enforce and issues threats that he doesn’t mean.

The only thing less appealing than selfishness is the complete absence of self. The only thing less appealing than empire is an anti-imperialism that so thoroughly negates its own power that it has no influence and no reason to exist.

Post-American America exists to destroy itself. Until that changes, it has nothing to offer the world except membership in a suicide pact.

Putin is merely moving into the vacuum created by the failure of leadership from the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut.

Simple physics, really. If The Won would respond in even a clumsy way, by taking the game TO Putin (exporting natural gas to Europe via cryogenic and pressurized tankers would be a start), the situation would quickly subside, but that would presuppose that the Current Regime would begin to reverse so much of its anti-energy agenda that is now part of its legacy.

No, not Michelle.

The democrats are astoundingly stupid, aren’t they? Well, just look at our Secretary of State, Murphy’s former Senate colleague. He’s busy trying to mobilize his international faggot army to go fight global warming, and now he’s clueless when a real crisis comes along.

"Let me be clear and simple: LGBT rights are human rights. Marriage equality and nondiscrimination in the military, workplace, classroom and healthcare system, based on real or perceived sexual orientation and gender identity, are civil rights that must be protected under law."

When singer Justin Bieber said in an interview with Rolling Stone that he admired the health care system in his native Canada, Murphy sent a tweet to The Huffington Post expressing approval of Bieber's comments. Shortly thereafter Murphy noticed that Bieber, in the same interview, spoke out against the practice of abortion, so Murphy sent out another tweet to distance himself from Bieber on that issue.

Murphy sponsored a bill that would subject Supreme Court Justices to the same ethical code that applies to other federal judges, and suggested in 2011 the possibility of an investigation to decide whether Justice Clarence Thomas had committed ethical violations that would justify removing him from office.

As early as March 1999, he criticized U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Johnson's vote for impeaching President Bill Clinton.

In 2001, he was a co-sponsor of a bill to eliminate child poverty.

He also proposed legislation that would give free tuition to students of the state's community-technical colleges.

He proposed legislation that would ban smoking in state colleges and universities. .

He was a supporter of same-sex marriage as early as 2002.

In 2003, he joined the Clean Car Alliance and supported California-like environmental standards on auto manufacturers.

In 2004, Murphy supported a bill that would ban smoking in all restaurants and bars

Murphy has received high scores from liberal groups such as Americans for Democratic Action, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and various labor unions

Of gun control following the Newtown shooting, Murphy stated "Clearly, in my mind, there is no reason why anyone should have access to a military-style assault weapon or a magazine clip that holds 30 or 100 bullets."

Murphy has been sued for nonpayment of his mortgage and non-payment of rent, and has also failed to pay taxes when due on several occasions.

In 2007, Chase Home Finance sued for foreclosure against Murphy, whose campaign initially responded by claiming that Murphy had missed "a couple of mortgage payments." Murphy claimed that he did not know he was in default until legal proceedings started. Murphy received a loan at the rate of 4.99% from Webster Bank in 2008 to consolidate his previous mortgages after being sued for foreclosure.

At the time of this loan, Murphy was serving on the House Financial Services Committee. In 2008, Webster Bank's political action committee made numerous donations to Murphy's campaign and in 2005 and 2006, Murphy worked for Webster as an attorney.

In 2008, Murphy voted for the Troubled Asset Relief Program which Webster received $400 million in 2009. Murphy's 2012 Republican opponent Linda McMahon accused him of receiving what she called "special interest loans," and called on Murphy to release his financial records. Bank officials and outside experts claim there was nothing improper about the loans made to Murphy.

All things being equal, Poland will kick anybody’s ass, everytime. There’s a Pilsudski in the making right now, waiting for his moment in time to emerge.
Will the senator say that Xi Jinping is ‘making it up’ when China annexes Taiwan?
This is the right time in history for every two-bit dictator to make their move. They know America won’t object, or at least Obama won’t. Another weak kneed American leftist president.
Speaking of which, somebody said that Obama makes Carter look like Churchill. Isn’t that the truth.

Christopher Murphy shared a link.

My statement with Senator McCain urging targeted sanctions against persons responsible for the violence in Ukraine:

Bill Stevens

“I encourage the new government to implement the necessary economic reforms to stabilize the economy and set Ukraine on a path to prosperity, including rooting out corruption and increasing transparency in government finances.” Hey Christopher Murphy, why don’t you first encourage our government to do the same?!

When the United States says that our military will not have the capbility or focus to conduct specific types of warfare, say the worldwide deployment of conventional forces, what do you think our adversaires will get really good at? Ukraine is a powderkeg because the eastern portion never wanted to be Ukrainian, they are ethnically and historically Russian. Lets make the smart move and keep our mouths and hands to ourselves in this situation.

For too long, thousands of people across the country faced the nightmare of being unable to get health care coverage or treatment when they had the misfortune of getting sick. But thanks to the Affordable Care Act, that nightmare is over. Thanks to the law, if you are diagnosed with a serious illness like cancer, an insurance company can’t drop you from your plan or deny coverage in the future. You’re also able to catch an illness and treat it more quickly thanks to provisions in the law that make preventive care free.

No one should be denied coverage or treatment just because they are sick. Republicans should stop throwing their weight behind efforts to repeal these life-saving protections and instead work with Democrats to improve the law.

I’m not a millionaire. I’m a nurse whom is paying more than I ever have for my families health insurance. Ive had to put off doctors appointment for my kids until I have enough money in my HSA to pay for it. I can’t afford the eye drops that cost me $20 last and are now $160 this year. Obamacare has made the wealthy insurance and pharmaceutical companies even richer while the middle class suffer. I’m happy for you but I’m not happy that we have delusional politicians like Murphy that turn it into a mudslinging contest. Obamacare is corporatism at it best.

Murphy keeps his appearances quiet so as not to have true constitutionalists confront him on his oathbreaking activities. When they do get word and attend he controls the venue through avoidance. He does not represent the people of CT, he represents the power elite in Washington and will be kicked to the curb when his term is up.

What a terrible tragedy, not just for Poland, but for freedom everywhere. Big surprise that Putin was in charge of the investigation of the crash of the Tupolev, eh? Plane crashes have been used as tools for ridding regimes of their enemies for decades. I’m fairly certain that Hitler got rid of Albert Speer’s predecessor with a plane crash back in the 1930’s.
The Smolensk crash took out much of Poland’s top military brass as well, I think. Even W rolled over for Vladimir on that one. I can’t believe what’s happening to the US. Are we a nation of girly-men now? For shame. At least Pilsudski had cojones.
