Obama announces (most comprehensive since end of the Cold War) sanctions on Russian officials

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama on Monday froze the U.S. assets of seven Russian officials, including top advisers to President Vladimir Putin, for their support of Crimea's vote to secede from Ukraine. The sanctions are the most comprehensive since the end of the Cold War.

Obama said he was moving to "increase the cost" to Russia, and he warned that more people could face financial punishment.

I saw a comment by somebody (either here or on Hot Air) that said if Obama wants to really get nasty with Putin, just sign him up for Obamacare. That would certainly do more ‘damage’ than this nothingburger stuff he announced today ... his statement was just plain limp.

WOW so this is how Obama reacts when an election doesn’t go his way, I can imagine what happens in November if the GOP takes control of the Senate, will be issues sanctions against America

I suspect George Soros has a stake in this. obama was quiet until Soros spoke up. Putin should look what Soros owns and interfere with his holdings.
