Warren Jeffs, the polygamist leader serving a life prison term for sexually assaulting two young girls at his sect's ranch in Texas, has been taken to a prison hospital, prison officials said on Monday.
A spokesman for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice said Jeffs was transferred to the hospital in Galveston on March 11 and was in stable condition. The spokesman, Robert Hurst, said Jeffs was admitted with "a non life-threatening medical condition."
Jeffs, 58, is the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a breakaway sect from the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, informally known as the Mormon Church.

Hope it’s nothing trivial.
A case of “prison polygamy”, maybe?
Jeffs and Phelps with the Westoboro group. Boy do these things go in threes like other people?

I read the article in Houston Chronicle and they had phone number in local news on it to call the Customer Relations person at the church if you were concerned about your account information etc...I did not know that “customer relations” was a church position in the Bible...maybe at Walmart...ha ha!

Sounds like an ‘inside’ job.......................
I wonder why this guy goes to prison but Hugh Hefner or those guys with 10 kids from 6 different welfare moms don’t.
You mean he may have 70 "celestial husbands"?
Because they were underage and raped against their will?
They probably just expanded the "False Preachers Wing" of Hell and have a couple of empty pits that need filling.
From the reports I have read, Jeffs is still controlling the FLDS church from prison.
Mr Jeffs continues to decree to his followers from prison. He decreed a couple of years ago that the married couples may not be intimate until he gets out of jail. Riiight. Whattayknow when any babies be born, eh?
re: He should be hanged.
I believe in ultimate justice and am sure Jeffs will be mighty surprised when he has to face God. Meanwhile, I am hoping Jeffs is experiencing prison “justice”, and all that that may entail. Kinda puts a smile on my face just thinking about it.
God does not willingly afflict the sons of men.
Be careful when you would presume to rise higher than His throne, and especially in His name. Jesus rebuked the Sons of Thunder for a good reason.
Could this guy and the guy from Westboro getting called home at the same time? Is this like an A-hole rapture?
The libertarians are pushing to make this and the FLDS marriage legal, but they generally don’t show up on threads like this.
