Is misinformation about the climate criminally negligent? Lawrence Torcello, PHILOSPHY professor thinks so.
"The importance of clearly communicating science to the public should not be underestimated. Accurately understanding our natural environment and sharing that information can be a matter of life or death. When it comes to global warming, much of the public remains in denial about a set of facts that the majority of scientists clearly agree on. With such high stakes, an organised campaign funding misinformation ought to be considered criminally negligent.

Why do they want to imprison dentists?
Go F yourself, Torcello!!!!
I thought it said Climate Change Dentists...
Perhaps I need to go see my Optometrist..
Great idea, Lawrence. In fact you should come and personally take me to prison.
He made up the word “denialists!”
Read the comments at the end of the article; a hoot!
They keep calling it “science” but cannot show any evidence linking climate change to human activity. But they have a favored conclusion which, by coincidence (not), also fits nicely with their political agenda.
he is a NAZI
In 2008 after Obama won I attended a party with a lot of gay-ish university professors present. They were really excited. One said something like, “Now we need to imprison all the conservatives in concentration camps.” (He was in a wheelchair and breathing from an oxygen cylinder. His hands appeared to be on swivels he was so limp-wristed. He was exactly the type the communists arrest first when they come to power.) The topper was another professor who said, “Concentration camp my ass. We need to send them to the gas chambers.” They all shrieked with laughter. I put down my wine and left. I haven’t attended any more “mixed” parties since.
Also see the Milgram Experiment, in which almost every case the subject gave the supposed recipient of electric shock what he thought was a lethal dose.
I imagine George Soros felt the same way as he was confiscating the personal property of condemned Jewish families.
Yep. Been to some of those myself. Felt VERY out of place.
I completely agree with this. Which is why all the pro-global warming people should be jailed for life, for attempted crimes against humanity.
Seriously? You are well composed.
As for me, this “professor” would have been ^wearing^ my glass of wine as I spun on my heel shouting “You, sir, are a fascist a$$hole!”
First notice the use of the term Climate Change. Just a couple of years ago this quack would have been using the term Global warming in relation to Co2. Now he is using the new talking points because he was proved to be a fraud.
Climate change of course is a natural occurrence that has happened throughout the age of the earth.
This guy calling for anyone to be put in prison simply because of their beliefs is and indication of what radical person he is.
He is far more dangerous to our society that Climate change.
I haven’t ever denied “Climate Change”. That has been with us since the beginning of this earth and is undeniable.
What I do deny ... however ... is that “Anthropogenic Global Warming” is any kind of real science. It is actually more like witch doctor science.
Come get me, Mr. Torcello, come get me!
I’ll take that bet! And when it’s discovered the hoax you and your comrades have been foisting on the American people (if not the world), your posterior can rot in a prison cell for conducting your “misinformation campaign”.
I do have words. Do you know what an Philosophy Professor really is? It’s someone who is unemployable in the real world.
Can’t fix a leaky toilet, change oil in a car, give directions without a GSP, or make change in a store.
Losers, slackers, and just plain birdshit useless.
“Perhaps I need to go see my Optometrist”
Only if its a Climate Change Optometrist...
