Despite spending over half-a-billion dollars on increasingly mind-blowing promotions for Obamacare, a new survey released today shows that even the website apparently fixed, over one-third of Americans without insurance say they plan to stay that way, even after being told that the new law requires them to get covered or pay a penalty. As CBS notes, some 46% of those surveyed also were unaware of the March 31 deadline for being insured as it seems "low-income, young families may have been overlooked. They're probably not spending a lot of time watching television, they never read a newspaper and if they listen to radio it's probably music in the car." 41% cited insurance as still too expensive with, oddly, 39% of middle-aged men preferring to stay uninsured.
As Bloomberg notes, the headline number above hides some other notable highlights (or lowlights)...

They would rather continue their practice of checking into the nearest hospital emergency room and letting the hospital and paying patients foot the bill.

(We are finished)
I think that prediction is optimistic. Nearly every plan is more expensive now than it was before Obamacare and yet these people either couldn’t afford it then or chose not to get it. Now that the cost has doubled what incentive is there for the uninsured to suddenly go out and buy these new plans?
The penalty? Like anyone is going to enforce that provision.
Very few of the new enrollees will make the third payment. They’ll take their chances, just as they did before.

Know 2 people in the medical profession who had the following conversation about Obamacare- as a result of Obamacare all these young people are gonna get health ins and see doctors and they'll get lots of new patients. The money will be coming in!

I guess it’s not enough to just get a “free” lunch anymore. Now, they have to send a free limo to pick you up and bring you to the restaurant.

One-Third Of 'Obamacare-Prospects' Intend To Stay Uninsured...wow - that's a surprise - given that about a third of those who were uninsured when this whole scam began were that way because they could afford insurance but just didn't think they needed it or were willing to pay their own way without insurance - why should they change their minds now.....
