Had cousins in Nam, BIL & Uncles in Korea, 1 BIL fought under Merrill in WW 2 for 6 yrs. The Pacific Theater was just as much a hell hole if not more so than the European Theater. Hubby was on the Midway when they pulled the Ambassador out of Nam, off the coast of Cuba during the Missile Crisis. He worked flight deck on most of his voyages, much of his later years he taught A/B school for electronics and computers.
Why have these men been forgotten?
