Watch how they don’t want to be the first one to stop clapping. It’s just like in Stalin’s days.

Some people over there have a reason to be a little cranky about the soviets.

Youtube translator is hilarious. But here’s the gist:

1.) Revolution in Ukraine illegal. US/EU supported effort on par with Iraq and “colored” revolutions.

2.) Crimea under international law permitted to self-determination. References Serbia/Kosovo (NATO interference)

3.) Even Germany recognizes need for Russian unity per union between W. & E. Germany

4.) Crimea is Russian strategic territory and should be Russian.

5.) Western sanctions an act of aggression.

Only thing is, a whole lot of water has gone over the dam since 1933 and trying to make deals with Soros and the IMF today is MORE likely to lead to starvation than anything else they could do. It isn’t 1933 any more.

Wow. I did not know that it was where Prince Vladimir was baptised.
I want to go there someday.

It is a lovely, lovely speech.

"Here is a quote from another official document: the Written Statement of the United States America of April 17, 2009, submitted to the same UN International Court in connection with the hearings on Kosovo. Again, I quote: “Declarations of independence may, and often do, violate domestic legislation. However, this does not make them violations of international law.” End of quote. They wrote this, disseminated it all over the world, had everyone agree and now they are outraged. Over what? The actions of Crimean people completely fit in with these instructions, as it were. For some reason, things that Kosovo Albanians (and we have full respect for them) were permitted to do, Russians, Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars in Crimea are not allowed. Again, one wonders why."

I think he spoke beautifully and with some restraint.

Sorry but Bozo is so so outclassed by this man.

“It’s just like in Stalin’s days.”

I guess I missed the part where Putin sent the Jewish refusniks to the gulags.

The real fun starts when Serbian tanks roll back into Kosovo. Kosovo and the Crimea aren’t the same thing, Kosovo amounted to a sort of a rolling real estate theft. The people living in the Crimea belong there.

Russia is a multinational state.

Crimea is Russia in miniature. Because its a homeland for Tatars and Ukrainian Russophones, it gets to keep its three official languages and becomes Russia’s 22nd Republic - Russia currently has 21 so-called Titular Republics.
