It is a darn frustrating situation. You really have to feel for the families.
On the list, I don’t know if actually everyone has the same list but it pretty much matched mine.
Those families have got to be at their wit's end, with all the sloppy media reporting, the secretive governments, the contradictory speculation, and the absence of news. It's like their loved ones were kidnapped -- and really that's the best they can expect after this much time with no news. The alternative is even more unthinkable to them.
It's time for a multinational investigation, something that will bring the fragmented investigations under one command. Right now there are multiple parallel investigations and not enough crosstalk. If the fate of that airplane is to be found out, it will be because of thorough forensics and careful analysis. And that will take the cooperation of all the different countries involved, whether they have pertinent flight info, aviation experts, military (radar) experts, naval search experts, witnesses (such as ATC), or citizens that were passengers in the airplane.
