Malaysian plane: 20 passengers worked for ELECTRONIC WARFARE and MILITARY RADAR firm
EXPRESS: The Daily Express ^ | March 18, 2014 | Ted Jeory

A US technology company which had 20 senior staff on board Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 had just launched a new electronic warfare gadget for military radar systems in the days before the Boeing 777 went missing.

Freescale Semiconductor, which makes powerful microchips for industries including defence, released the powerful new products to the American market on March 3.

Five days later, Flight MH370 flew from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing with 239 people including 20 working for Freescale.

Twelve were from Malaysia eight were Chinese nationals.

Freescale’s spokesman Mitch Haws has said: “These were all people with a lot of experience and technical background and they were very important people.

“It’s definitely a loss for the company.”

Freescale’s shareholders include the Carlyle Group of private equity investors whose past advisers have included ex-US president George Bush Sr and former British Prime Minister John Major.

Carlyle’s previous heavyweight clients include the Saudi Binladin Group, the construction firm owned by the family of Osama bin Laden.

The fact that Freescale had so many highly qualified staff on board the Boeing 777 had already prompted wild conspiracy theories about what might have happened.

The company says they were flying to China to improve its consumer products operations, but Freescale’s fresh links to electronic warfare technology is likely to trigger more speculation and deepen the mystery.

Experts have been baffled how a large passenger jet seems to have flown undetected and possibly beaten military radar systems for up to six hours.

Avoiding radar via “cloaking technology” has long been one of the objectives of the defence industry and Freescale has been active developing chips for military radar.

On its website, the company says its radio frequency products meet the requirements for applications in “avionics, radar, communications, missile guidance, electronic warfare and identification friend or foe”.

Now Malaysia says data has been deleted from the pilot’s flight simulator. I sure am glad Malaysia hurried up and waited to check the pilot’s belongings.

You need to do further reading/ research
Four off them held 4/5 of the company’s patents the fifth part was owned by the company. Upon their death guess who owns 100% of he patents?

Do a little more research. It’ll take less then five minutes of your time to not spread false information.

Nah. I seriously doubt that. Got something to show it is true?

They were not even Americans.

Sorry if it sounded snippy. Need coffee
Google
flight# + patent + name of company

There are a couple of dozen hits.
Wouldn’t want to choose for anyone
One even suggest the company set it up. Just by pointing out who would financially benefit
There are several threads here on FR that also discuss it also

This has all the hallmarks of the plane that was destroyed outside of New York City after takeoff. Aboard was the entire graduating class of Egyptian Pilots and family who had originated from Ft. Bliss Texas area after several years of training. We heard that some people saw a missile streak towards the plan from off shore. The Muslim Brotherhood or its affiliates would have the correct lead in this plans terrorism.

Now we have yet another flight with passengers of military significance being removed from service, so to speak. The Cold War just got Hot with this serious of events form Russian-Shite Axis against the Sunni-American with Putin joking he would destroy NATO is a speech last night....

I can answer that. Freescale. If nobody were missing, who owns them? Freescale. Who owns 5/5 of the patents to which you refer? Freescale. The individuals are named on the patents, but the company "owns" them, and no "survivors" gets rich because 20 people are gone

This is a non-issue. These 20 did not hold a huge number of the Freescale patents, anyway. That kind of R&D is done in the US. Where does this story come from? Well, today is bound to be pretty entertaining for me. I'll be lurking but I won't be able to comment much on this thread.

i posted earlier in march about the 20 Freescale Engineers whom were on the plane. If you look at freecale.com.
Radio Frequency Power Solutions for Aerospace and Defense
Freescale RF has launched a major initiative dedicated to serving the RF power needs of the US Aerospace and defense (A&D( sector, and has established a team of specialists dedicated to supporting defense customers.
Freescale’s commercial products can meet the requirements of applications such as
- battlefield communications.
- avionics.
- HF through L and S band radar.
- Missile Guidance.
- Electronic warfare.
- Identification, friend or foe (IFF).

responses I got back that i should release a book soon on this idea.

Something is not right with this whole malaysia Airlines Disappearance.

I ran with this theory on day 3 and a number of freepers shot it down - with good knowledge it seemed.

That was probably me, because I have plenty of reason to know. This story is insane, and I see it doesn't want to die. Did you see the Beck story yesterday? All about the cloaking device.

I really need to put in for a huge bonus today.

Seems to be a bit of misinformation on the freestyle passengers and their patents on this thread. Of course none of it is sourced. Want to help contradict it?

Freestyle is something I have been interested in doing with my dogs. A relatively new form of dog dancing. Not easy to find instructors.

...nothing to be concerned about having so many foreign nationals working on US defense technology

Just doin' the jobs US citizens won't do. (sarcasm). Even if this has nothing to do with the plane going down, it is the takeaway. US defense companies with a foreign workforce, going to China for a conference about their stuff. Weren't they just a little concerned about safety?

This one is posted in several links under Patent Patent Patent if you care to look it up. Some sites even list the primary patents

Xxxxxxxxx

Four days after the missing flight MH370 a patent is approved by the Patent Office, 4 of the 5 Patent holders are Chinese employees of Freescale Semiconductor of Austin TX. Patent is divided up on 20% increments to 5 holders.

Peidong Wang, Suzhou, China, (20%)
Zhijun Chen, Suzhou, China, (20%)
Zhihong Cheng, Suzhou, China, (20%)
Li Ying, Suzhou, China, (20%)
Freescale Semiconductor (20%)
If a patent holder dies, then the remaining holders equally share the dividends of the deceased if not disputed in a will.

If 4 of the 5 dies, then the remaining 1 Patent holder gets 100% of the wealth of the patent.

That remaining live Patent holder is Freescale Semiconductor.

Not for a while. I will be off to work as soon as I crawl out of bed, and I frown on posting things about my company when I’m sitting in a R&D lab at my company. Would you? All I can really say is the folks on the airplane could not possibly have held a huge number of patents, those are done in labs in the US. Also, when you work for the R&D of a company, the patents generated belong to the company. This has been standard since the days of Edison.

:^)
