As part of its campaign to step up efforts to address climate change, the White House on Wednesday announced the creation of a new website to serve as a one-stop location for the enormous amount of climate data housed at different federal agencies.
In the administrations most high-profile effort, the Environmental Protection Agency in September proposed rules to cut greenhouse gas emissions from new power plants.
The president also plans to ask Congress for $1 billion in his 2015 budget to establish a climate resiliency fund that would finance research, preparation and infrastructure to adapt to extreme weather driven by global warming.

The NY Times article:
Note the $1 BILLION Obama wants to spend on a "climate change resilience fund", in addition to all the other money he is sinking into it! And I bet this is just a start.
Global warming ping
What a complete waste of time, money and resources.
Based upon past experience with 0bamaCare, that $1bil will just cover the cost of the website, maybe.
I bet it works better than the Obamacare website.......................
This follows the coldest winter in recent history.
Blah blah blah.
last time that happened was a 400 year long mini ice age (1350 to 1750)
But didn’t you know that cold is hot and hot is cold.
According to the so called scientists, the Sun has nothing to do with the temperatures on Earth. Nothing. “End of discussion, done deal. Now where is my grant.”
That's part of the purpose. An economic system must be first destroyed to be replaced.
Junk science...and even IF true. Driving a golf cart and using those curly bulbs ain’t gonna do jack.
Nothing made up here. All REAL.
Dumb, dumb and dumb. And stupid and ignorant.
Don’t back off spending 1 thin dime.
After healthcare.gov, they have the audacity to keep building websites?
Yet ANOTHER money-laundering program!!!
JUST what this country needs!!!
