After an extraordinarily eventful day that stretched well into the night, the General Assembly on Tuesday passed two bills that, in effect, deploy a large sign at the state line saying: Obamacare not welcome here.
The first piece of legislation, House Bill 990, gives the Legislature the authority to decide whether the state should expand its Medicaid program, a power that currently resides with the governor. The second, HB 943, goes farther, barring any state or local governments, agencies or employees from advocating for Medicaid expansion, except under certain circumstances, or from creating a health insurance exchange.

Lucky for us that the Democrats chose a Communist-trained Insurance Czar with no previous Business or Insurance experience, is an arrogant Nobel Peace Prize winner, and wears Mom Jeans that makes him look like an ass when he leads from behind.
I’ve said it before...if the states were rejecting a Bush policy, even one that promised 365 sunny days per year, the papers would be in full throat praising their pluck, courage, etc.
These people are, in effect, simply following their political and economic survival instinct. Even hard-core statists can spot a slow-motion train wreck.

I wish Florida Gov Scott would get on board, yes there are a lot of liberals, but there are more conservatives as witnessed by Scott, Rubio, and West, who would have won hands down if the GOPe would have given him just a little support, no worries West will be back “guns a blazing”.
