The teachers union contract in Ferndale Public Schools in Oakland County gives "special consideration" to applicants who are of "the non-Christian faith."
Michigan's Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination in employment and public services on the basis of religion.

Isn’t that special.
“Please note that the district does not discriminate in hiring on the basis of religion or other related issues,” she said.
Christian men are at the bottom of the hiring ladder. No wonder we have problems with our society. Christian men ought to be at the top of the priority for hiring.
And so it begins.
Why should there be a religious test at all?
As I see it, they desire that when one commits, sees, or has to instruct an evil event, that they are numb to the way the unions/administration wants to handle the outcome.
Like liberty, if we do not hold Christian characteristics that uphold good values and morals, it cannot last. Taking on even one of the 7 deadly sins leads to letting evil take hold of your life.
Not standing for something you will fall for everything.
It REALLY is time to take our country back.
Time to sue.
“For example, in 2012, Capitol Confidential reported on a teachers union contract in Bay City that had provisions allowing teachers to be drunk and on drugs several times before being fired.”
Not only could they be drunk or on drugs without being fired, they could be caught selling drugs at school and not be fired!
Anything that is not Christian.
Wow. How is that tolerance and equality coming along ?
Ferndale was the first city in Michigan to elect an openly gay mayor, Craig Covey, on November 6, 2007. Because of the city’s population base, popular nicknames include “Fashionable Ferndale,” and “Fabulous Ferndale”.
Imagine the reaction if that was the wording...
Ferndale is the homo capital of Michigan.
According to the Mackinac center on twitter the language will be removed after being exposed.

@FerndaleSchools say it will remove discriminatory language from #union contract after @MichCapCon reveals it.
Incredibly illegal, but they don’t care.
