>>Silly me, I didn’t know amnesty for illegals was “conservative”. <<

Well, you’ll have to get over it because there’s not a single candidate currently in the running who hasn’t advocated some measure of legalization (not citizenship, but legal status) for at least some of those currently here illegally.

Maybe I’m wrong though. Which candidate argues that every single illegal should be rounded up and deported?

Democrats should run on the Communist ticket, Republicans should run on the Democrat ticket. Regardless of who is running for any office the Constitution is what I’m voting for.

>>He’s none of that, he’s a “Player.” He does what he has to to forward his career. <<

Well, at least we know now why the GOP candidates have such a hard time reaching out to groups that vote mostly, and automatically, Dem. We ostracize anyone who tries I guess.

No, we insist on someone who shares our principles. Unless we don’t have any, in which case winning will do.

What he didn’t say but is around the corner is: The Government doesn’t treat christians fairly. because the day is now on us that the government is waging a war on Christians. And i think the libertarian philosophy of the government not dictating what people can and cannot do, is liberating to Christians as well pornographers and leftists. i’ll get flamed or what ever but my point is freedom works for everyone. Government cannot force anyone against their will to do any thing against their conscience. the same rules that allow a gay parade allow you to home school your kids. fly a flag let your kids wear a flag on their tee shirt. There are more of us than there are of them. freedom works for us.

Great use of the classic leftist strawman. Sheesh.

Who is Cruz backing for the Texas senate,

Cruz is too vitriolic to win. The media may be the cause of a lot of it but it is that way.

BS. He stands for what the Founding Fathers did.

Individual Liberty.

Actually, that is a good idea. We should call him the BS candidate.

Yes he does throw in a few comments here and there about individual liberty. Right after he makes some lefty comments. Just to look conservative.

Who is Cruz backing for the Texas senate,

LOL. I have heard that question throw around here. Cruz did not endorse or campaign for that RINO in the Primary. I hope that was clear enough to those asking that question. As a matter of fact, Cruz exposed him in his shenanigans.

Rand Paul has embraced the GOP-e shenanigans, and he has signed up to help them.

Domino’s changed the menu? Are the ingredients the same, or are there changes there, too? I’m curious, because they used to be pretty good.

Why is my question a strawman? I was serious. There is no GOP candidate who argues that every single illegal should be deported. Yet to do otherwise, even in a single case, will constitute the dreaded “amnesty” that many here will not countenance in a candidate for whom they will vote.

Okay, I guess they could round them up and jail them and that would satisfy the no-amnesty group, but again, is there a candidate who has expressed only those options? I think not, and if not, the only GOP vote anyone is going to be able to cast in 2016 is for a “pro-amnesty” candidate.

This isn’t my original thought, by the way. Someone else in here asked a few days ago who the no-amnesty candidate was.
