Terri Durheim and her family now have health insurance, thanks to Obamacare. What they don't have are local doctors and hospitals who will take it.
This worries the Enid, Okla., resident since she has a teenage son with a serious heart condition. They now have to find a pediatric cardiologist in Oklahoma City, more than an hour away.
And if there's an emergency ... "obviously we'd have to pay out of pocket and go here in town, but that defeats the purpose of insurance. I'm truly grateful we have insurance. It's reasonable and affordable, but it's not doing me a lot of good," said Durheim, who just had to drive 90 minutes to Stillwater, Okla., for a CAT scan for herself. "It's so frustrating."

Yes, of course we have to get people signed up and we can find out what they signed up for later...
I lost my doctor to Obamacare two years ago.
There’s a paragraph in it that says that a doctor cannot own a hospital and work in the same hospital as a doctor. It also applies to large clinics.
My doctor owned about a dozen small clinics. He was presented with the decision to sell off his clinics and work as a doctor or to give up his practice and keep his clinics.
He is now just the owner and manager and can’t practice medicine.
Basically she bought a timeshare she will never get to use.
Ahhh, finally patients for affirmative action doctors ... Good luck to Terri Durheim and her son... they’ll need it.

WOW on that one. Many people depend on walk in clinics. I know many are owned by the doctors...so that is going to hurt folks who use them often. I’m grew up in Tampa and we didn’t have a primary care doctor (didn’t need one/never really sick). They were a nice convenience for a simple cold, a cut needing stitches, etc. Now what will become of all of those places??
Went to my local Giant Eagle to pick up my prescription for pravastatin {a Lipitor generic} for which I had paid $20/quarter for the past six years.
The price went to $205, 10 times what had previously been the customer price.
The pharmacist said it was taken off the "preferred list" due to obamacare.
I shopped around and found it for ONLY A FOUR HUNDRED % INCREASE, so I can now buy it for $80 instead of $20.
What we are seeing is just the tip of the iceberg.
Wait until 2015 {after the election} and the millions of seniors that will get booted from their Medicare-Advantage Programs, all over the country.
Hildabeast will have no chance promoting Affordable gummint Healthcare, and the DemonRATs will lose another 10-15 senate seats in 2016.
Of course we will all be living in tents at the re-adjustment camps, or will have died trying to fight the take over.
We have a very nice cancer center here that is affiliated with UCLA. They have a HUGE infusion clinic.....or had a huge infusion clinic. Because it was all privately owned by one of the cancer doctors there they were forced to sell the infusion clinic to one of the local hospitals to run because of Obamacare. Now the infusion center, which is in the same building as all the other treatments, is separately owned and from what I’ve heard quite a mess.

always check that website for your meds. I had a scrip filled yesterday that was $85 with my insurance but only $65 with a coupon from them.
If you sign up with BCBS directly, we can help her out, if she signed up through the government website, BCBS can’t really do anything, she has to go through the government website to get it fixed.
Are yinz gonna go dahntahn and watch the Stillers or ya wanna come to my place and help me get rid of some iron city? Wanna pop? Gum bands?
I was living outta town for about 4 years and when I returned, it sounded like I was in a foreign country for about a month.
