The police department at the University of California, Santa Barbara has released its official crime report concerning the professor who stole a graphic anti-abortion sign from two abortion protesters, then seemingly assaulted one of the protesters (a 16-year-old girl) and destroyed the sign.
The professor is Mireille Miller-Young. She is several months pregnant.
A large swath at the beginning of the report is redacted for reasons that are unclear. A few administrative bits are redacted at other points. However, most of the text remains uncensored.
“In essence, Miller-Young told me that she felt ‘triggered’” “in a negative way” by graphic images on the anti-abortion poster and on anti-abortion literature demonstrators handing out on Mar. 4, explains the report, obtained by the Santa Barbara Independent. (RELATED: Read the full report here)
The feminist studies professor who specializes in queer theory and pornography said she felt the protesters had no right to be on the UC Santa Barbara campus “because the poster was upsetting to her and other students.”
The demonstrators, Thrin Short, 16, and her 21-year-old sister, Joan, were standing in a designated “free speech zone” on the campus. They are members of a Riverside, Calif.-based pro-life group called Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust.
“Miller-Young said that she and others began demanding that the images be taken down,” the police report relates. “Miller-Young said that the demonstrators refused. At which point, Miller-Young said that she ‘just grabbed it [the sign] from this girl’s hands.”
“Asked if there had been a struggle, Miller-Young stated, ‘I’m stronger so I was able to take the poster.’”

After looking at her pic, the Turner Baxter refused saying that it has a headache. If that ‘lady’ is married, it must be to a lesbian.

If we can now claim a moral right to physically attack anyone that disagrees with us, all bets are off.
But unlike a normal person who might feel "triggered" to spare the lives of unborn children, she was triggered to violence. Further proof that liberalism is a mental illness.
Pity the child borne by this professor. He/she/it will grow up in confusion and anger.

So the libs (presumably much earlier) demanded this "free speech zone" so they can rant against conservatives. When conservatives attempt to use the "free speech zone", they're physically confronted, told their message is "too upsetting", and shut down "because I was stronger than her."
You're observing the liberal playbook.
Last night I had dreams about the babies I lost. Hell, yes, I was “triggered” for a year or more after each loss. Somehow it still wasn’t my right to assault people, or stop them from talking and writing, or sue them.
There are many many women out there who are “triggered” by the pain of abortion, unresolved grief and guilt and anger. There are abortion advocates who are “triggered” by the contradiction of their attachment to their own children. Perhaps it is the same refusal of responsibility and hardship that leads to them aborting their babies that leads them to attack others for reminding them of what abortion is.
You are assuming a husband. Seems unlikely.

Likely you’re right - I doubt a “queer studies” prof is married to a man.
But, I offer that bit of observation for those to whom it applies. It will really get the goat of those women.
