Undoubtbly buried in a secret location.
Can you imagine the pictures that people would take at his grave and the “poses” they would make.
“”No. He was caught masturbating.””
Dang. If that logic were universal then every mother in America would disown their sons by the age of 13.
"Go away, Batin'"
Maybe the cult will now too.
And interestingly there was no response back...
Why Fred Phelps’ Death Isn’t a Cause for Celebration
By Brandon W. Peach
March 20, 2014
The Westboro Baptist Church founder’s death is an opportunity to respond to hatred with love.
The life of Fred Waldron Phelps, notorious founder and leader of the Westboro Baptist Church, has come to an end. He leaves behind a tainted legacy that began with civil rights activism in the 1960s, but grew into a fringe movement that derided Catholic and Protestant churches, picketed funerals across the country, and garnered media attention for vehement, despicable anti-gay protests.
Reports have suggested that Phelps was excommunicated from his church at some point. But Fred Phelps continues to be viewed as the ringleader of Westboro Baptist Church, an organization whose hate and bigotry, though far removed from any recognized denominational affiliation, seemed to confirm the deepest fears about what Christianity might represent.
When the Secret Service lets you move due the the proximity of the WBC, you know NO ONE likes them.
I don’t recall the WBC officially confirming it, but some members did.
Just a day or two ago they were denying he was near death.
They sure have.
Nobody’s death should be celebrated, not even a person as vile as Fred Phelps. That which is Life and gives life, whatever you name choose to use, chose to give the world Fred Phelps, for some reason, one which I admit I don’t understand and I’m sure most people don’t.
Nevertheless, he was a human being with a family and they are (mostly) grieving. As hateful a lot as the Westboro group is, rejoicing at anyone’s death is unseemly and inhuman.
Good riddance to bad rubbish!
BREAKING NEWS: Fred Phelps surprised to find self in Purgatory.
(The theological implications of that would probably mess with him nearly as much as would getting sent to The Other Place.)
You know that Phelps was excommunicated from his church. Also, Westboro is going to picket and demonstrate at his funeral. In addition to that his daughter is apparently calling him a fag-loving whore. Its all quite interesting.
Westboro Baptist Church To Protest Fred Phelps Funeral, Says Daughter
And this post in the thread ...
Westboro is going to picket! No ... for real, they are.
Add to that list John Murtha, and Robert "Sheets" Byrd.
And there is a whole list of people for whom I will dance the Headstone Stomp.
Westboro is going to picket his funeral. I provided the reference ... just above.
Did more to advance the cause of gay rights covertly than any group openly. Disturbed, disordered soul.
