A firestorm of backlash has been mounting against a South Carolina pub that put a derogatory sign in its store window telling gun owners to keep out. Backstreets Pub & Deli in Clemson has a one-star rating out of five on Yelp, with pages upon pages of negative comments and reviews by Second Amendment supporters. The story first gained traction when Twitchy posted several photos of the sign from Twitter.

Seems like an open invitation for an armed robbery there if nothing else. Why would you advertise that you don’t want guns in your place? I mean, better to say nothing or have a teeny tiny sign stating your no gun policy rather than a billboard inviting trouble in.
But, it’s his business and I support his right to restrict guns and insult gun owners if he wants. There is no law against being stupid.

That's not really outrage, that's just the market deciding whether his product is the best to buy. AND, helping him get his wish in clientele along the way. Not really what I'd describe as "outrage".

My S-I-L owns a Business in Mississippi.
When they started talking about Legalizing Open Carry there, she put a “No Guns Allowed” sign on her door. When I visited, I asked her if she thought Criminals would be deterred by her sign.
She said no, but since people come in there with their Children, she didn’t want to worry about Guns. Apparently if you don’t see a Gun, there is no need to worry.
