I used to spend time in Weisbaden in a NG unit assigned to the 165th Military Intelligence Battalion from 1983 to 1986.
Those were tense and exciting years.

I was doing a staff job, creating instrument flight procedures. We were located in the Defense Mapping Agency building. We needed their maps to do this. I have long since retired, but I am pretty sure all this is done by computers now.
