Drudge's 'Liberty Tax' Proves How Little White House, Left Know About Business

Checking Breitbart News before bed last night (I'm both an employee and a fan), I thought I knew exactly what had happened based on the headline of Matthew Boyle's story about Matt Drudge paying a "Liberty Tax." Based on a previous tweet, I was already aware that Drudge  was not going to enroll in ObamaCare. Therefore, I simply assumed he had filed his quarterly business taxes in advance, used Twitter to announce he had chosen to pay the ObamaCare fine, and in turn this had caused outrage from the Obama White House and Left.

What I didn't expect was for them to declare their own astonishing ignorance of how business works by calling Drudge a liar.

The article on Talking Points Memo is still up this morning though. They may not ever admit they were not just ignoran, but behaving as they did, that they are prjcks — so not just ignorant, not just prjcks, but ignorant prjcks.

What's FUnnie is the TPM article is still up and meanwhile they are getting tons of comments from rational people pointing out their error such as this:

The instructions for the current Form 1040ES, line 12, "Other Taxes," lists "additional Medicare tax" and refers the tax filer to IRS Form 8959. Self-employed individuals who earn over $200K-$250K owe an extra 0.9% tax on their Medicare wages, and it has to be paid in 2014; hence Drudge encountering it in doing his 2014 estimated taxes. And, if you dig a little further, you'll find out that this "additional Medicare tax" was imposed in the 2,700 pages of the ACA that we had to pass to find out what was in it.

Drudge sometimes is a mixed bag, but I can't think of many who have embarrassed the POS POTUS more in the past 6 years. I love seeing the left MSM heads explode when they realize that Drudge is more relevant than the entire collective putrid group of pukes.

Obamacare is a gift the GOP better collect on come November.

Did not see an ‘amount’ while scanning the article, so it doesn’t mean much.

Did he pay the $95 or the 1% of his income? Without knowing his income, 1% could be a rather sizeable amount.

If he paid the 1%, was that greater or less than what the insurance premiums would have been for the year?

Drudge tweeted, “Just paid the Obamacare penalty for not 'getting covered'... I'M CALLING IT A LIBERTY TAX.”

Drudge went on to explain that he is 'self-employed' and filed as a small business.

The 'self-employment' tax includes Social Security/Medicare, which are separate from Obamacare premiums/penalty, aren't they?

I got out of the service in late '69 and started college in the fall of '70. I wore my field jacket (w/ USMC on the pocket) every day.
On the day of the "end the war" moritorium, I approached the school entrance when one of the anti-Amerian, scumbag protestors - a woman - got in my face screaming "BABY KILLER!"
Instinctively, I dropped her with one punch and screamed back - "Whose next you feckin' commies?"
