I have trouble believing this would really destroy one’s career chances especially once one described what happened and the details. But if there are zero tolerance policies or if this sticks as a felony and that alone is a disqualifier then I’m at a loss. This country is in ways equal if not worse than communist shtholes of the past for bureaucratic insanity when it comes to some zero tolerance and PC rules and red tape over a stain on someone’s record.

He is screwed ,, the job apps usually ask about felonies or misdemeanors that resulted in 3+ days in jail... if you answer yes your app gets shitcanned ,, no chance to explain .. if you answer “no” you get caught in the screening and are canned.
