Caveat!

I am not Roman Catholic, and I've been told by my RC brethren that often the media obscures or perverts the teaching of this pope and the Vatican to a degree that makes it unbelievable.

So...is this accurate, or no? And, if accurate, can we HOPE the Pontiff will say the same to BO the pro-infanticide, pro-sodomy, pro-Marxism "leader" later this month when they meet? :)

Thanks.

I pray that he does!

He can frame his statement as an Evangelical one..

“May you be given the revelation that some of your politcal positions are heinous ABOMINATIONS in God’s Sight!”...”The Pope”

Thank you.

The same could be said for the pope if he doesn’t repent. That applies to all of us.

No disrespect intended, but what the heck?

Is there some mobster somewhere who didn't know it was wrong?

Is there some mobster somewhere that this will make a difference?

Give him credit. I don’t remember any previous popes threatening hell.

Why not just excommunicate the murdering bastards, baby-killers and disease-ridden, boy-raping whackjobs?

Physician heal thy church.

Abortionists are automatically excommunicated per canon law. So is anyone else who participates in an abortion.

Not really.

What about all those "catholic" pro-abortion democRATs in your legislature?

Have they been excommunicated?

Sounds like he found the second set of books at the Vatican and they’re signed Guido...

I’m sorry...This doesn’t fit this popes background. Someone is prompting him and he’s coming out as a nutcase. The Bishops and cardinals love him? Do they or was he a mistake...or bad judgment?

Didn’t the Pope watch the Godfather when Michael was standing as godfather to Connie’s baby, denouncing the devil while having all his enemies shot dead? I don’t know, maybe Michael thought he was doing the right thing.

Are you an authority on this Pope's background?

Nutcase? I guess I'm the same case, because I cheered reading it yesterday.

There we go - let's get our theology from the movies.

So why give them communion? The Catholic church has long soft peddled abortionists to avoid losing their $$ base in the northeast.

Why not just reiterate the ten commandments. Cover the mobsters and abortionists and everything else for that matter.

Anyone who has spent time in Sicily, knows the evil of the Mafia. The enormous amount of victims, the fear ordinary folks have of them - their presence in every day life and the unbelievable shakedowns. Why, you can’t even park in a parking lot without some capo demanding a fee while holding a baseball bat. Absolutely chilling...

So, the Pope is right to speak out on this issue which is so close to Italian culture.
