In honor of Earth Day this year, groups are giving out 44,000 “Endangered Species Condoms.”
The environmentally friendly condoms will be distributed in an effort to refocus the green holiday back to why it was started: to campaign against “runaway human population growth and overconsumption.”
“April 22 is the 44th Earth Day, and this year we want to bring the holiday’s focus back to its origins: runaway human population growth and overconsumption, the root causes of our most pressing environmental crises,” the Center for Biological Diversity wrote in a pitch to its supporters.

I think the “naked and afraid” crew should have left the cameras with the survivalist volunteers and then departed the island saying “See you this time next year, hope you have a lot of film for us to make a show from.” And then come back in a year and see if anyone was still alive.
Yeah, isn't it ironic that radical environmentalists are liberals who proclaim they are not the racists ones, all the while working hard to limit the numbers of 'brown people' being born?
44,000 won’t even take care of all the illegal babies born in the Los Angeles County Hospital.
“Except medical emergencies”. Chances without a back up crew with sat phones and EMT equipment................ Uh, not too good.
If they think the Earth is overpopulated or will become overpopulated, why don’t they kill themselves?

Aren’t discarded condoms killing sea birds who eat them thinking they are squid?

If they claim to be true survivalists, then there should be no “medical emergency backup.” In a real world situation, there wouldn’t be. In the perfect non-technological back to native love of Gaia they want there won’t be....thus let them have their primeval perfection to live or die in.
But these are special enviro-friendly ones. Supposedly.
How about “Recycled Earth Day Condoms”?
If all these earthwhackos feel this way they should immediately undergo sterilization! Set the standard live the dream and reduce the potential for more enviro nazis.
I’ll give the enviro-mental-cases suicide pills. That will change the adult population much more quickly.
