Political attacks on the Koch brothers have emerged as a key, practically everyday part of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his Democratic Partys 2014 election strategy -- accusing the wealthy conservative donors of trying to buy elections and block aid to Ukraine.
The attacks began in earnest last month when the Nevada Democrat in notable floor speeches accused Charles and David Koch of being un-American and trying to buy America and continued straight through this week.
Across the country Republican Senate candidates are embracing a dangerous agenda thats good for billionaires like the Koch Brothers and bad for nearly everyone else in the country, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee said Thursday in announcing a record-breaking February fundraising haul of $6.8 million.
That Democrats would attack the Kochs, or mount a counter-attack, is to be expected, considering how their money was instrumental in helping conservative nonprofits assist Republicans in taking the House in the 2010 midterm elections. Furthermore, Reid argues the Kochs are really trying to "buy" elections to advance their self-serving corporate interests of lower taxes and less regulation.

“Reid argues the Kochs are really trying to “buy” elections to advance their self-serving corporate interests of lower taxes and less regulation.”
Elections are bought everyday, by the RNC, the DNC, Hollywood, George Soros, global warming pimps, Obama-you name it. Money is the life blood of all politics, and Reid’s selective indignation is blatant hypocrisy.
Like all liberals dingy Harry is using psychological projection to blame the Koch Brothers what he is actually doing

The democrats raised a “record breaking” $6.8 million. I wonder how much of that came from the Kochs.
The Kochs aren’t even conservatives. They’re libertarians, and that’s Big-L libertarians. Pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage...they may support free market capitalism but on social issues they stink.
When you have nothing to offer the folks, try to demonize the opposition... Hmmm, where have I seen that before?
D-rats always accuse others of that which they are guilty.
Dang, I believe that idea comes from a manual that they aspire to...
Right! So-ros! So-ros!
What is this nation coming to? Where are we headed?
Why doesn’t Harry get mad about Soros trying to rig elections and buy influence, much less try to destabilize whole countries and convert them into 3rd world countries for profit?
The Democrats can’t attack any of the other billionaires who are big GOP donors because they are all liberals.
Did the Koch brothers give us 0bamaCare?
I have - doubts - there’s going to be another election. I have -doubts- we’ll even have electricity by then.
Poor Harry and the Demon rats...
To think they are so undermaned with only the I.R.S., A.T F., O.S.H.A., E.P.A. and the press doing their bidding are still getting their asses handed to them.
Of the big money boys I think I like Foster Freiss best and even he has his soft points like immigration.
10 or 15 years ago, it was Richard Scaife who was the Republican bogey-man.
Theyre libertarians, and thats Big-L libertarians. Pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage...they may support free market capitalism but on social issues they stink.
Is Rand Paul a “Big-L” Libertarian? Doesn’t really matter. Since he endorsed, and is working for, Mitch McConnell in the GOP Primary against Matt Bevin (a real Conservative), I’ll never vote for the little, curly-haired asshole for anything. (Not to mention, his niece’s husband is McConnell’s Campaign Mgr.)
Has anyone ever added up Soros’ total ‘contributions’ through his various surrogates?
Reid argues the Kochs are really trying to buy elections to advance their self-serving corporate interests of lower taxes and less regulation.
Buy elections? is that like stealing elections aka voter fraud?
Fight back, fight back, fight back!
Tell the world what George Soros has done, who and what he’s funded, who and what he controls. What is wrong with conservatives that they never fight back?
