All approved religions in Russia have government approve licenses to practice? Makes one wonder who/what sets the benchmarks.

is that the only way to know the Holy Spirit.

I've known many Catholic Charismatics
also Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist,
and of course Pentecostal.

The Charismatic movement is NOT specific to one Denomination
And is, to my mind, one possible path
for the mending of the ways between
the fragmented Body of Christ

In Putin’s Russia the Russian Orthodox Church is the favored church.

Orthodox Christians like Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn whose writings I’ve read found the Protestant sects to be strange at the least and harmful to what they see as authentic Christianity at worst.

And this is the way communism works. Hitler and his fascists did the same thing.... Get rid of those with faith . Stack the churches with those who have been trained by the state

The Catholic church being forced to shutdown services (by Obama)in the US is pretty bad (and unconstitutional).

Putin/Russia liquidating the Pentecostal Church is even worse.

Can't you bring yourself to criticize that.

Not one bit. It's their rules.

Even worse is what Obama has done to OUR military in the area of religion and gays and shutdowns. During the government shutdown, I believe the Priests and Ministers were not allowed to preach and their doors were actually locked.
