Michelle Obama says internet access should be 'universal right'

Michelle Obama has declared that access to the internet should be a universal right, in a rare and controversial foray into the world of international politics during a cultural visit to China.

The US first lady, who is on a week-long trip to the communist state with her daughters and mother, risked upsetting her hosts in Beijing by declaring access to information as a birthright. During a speech at Peking University's Stanford Centre, she called for greater freedoms while refraining from a direct attack on the controls over information in China.

The so-called "great firewall of China" blocks access to internet sites deemed sensitive, while a vast censorship machine swiftly deletes content considered objectionable. Twitter and Facebook are both blocked.

We're from the government and we're here to help you.

The Internet is a Universal Right. Therefore all subjects must purchase a subscription from a government approved provider or pay a tax. Those earning less than 300% of the United Nations established poverty level will be subsidized. The UN Secretary of Universal Human Rights (UN-UHS) shall establish regulations controlling approved content on the Internet.

That is all.

No, Michelle, do you know what is a Universal Right? It is a Universal Right to take 20 vacations a year, and spend 20 million per vacation, like you do.

Does that mean that during storm outages we can sue the government for breaching our “rights”?

Taking billion-dollar taxpayer-paid junkets to foreign countries should be a universal right as well.

The internet - putting aside Al Gores psychotic claim - was invented in the USA, am I correct? First started at UCLA in the 1960s? So of course control of it must go to a foreign entity so this way trust and security in online financial transactions will drop faster than Jerry Sanduskys pants in front of a Cub scout. Mission accomplished - chalk up more destruction to the USA. And the RINO party continues to hide under its desk “Ooo impeachment will make us look RACIST!”

And that’s no exaggeration, it’s probably more like 24 vacations. She just came back from one now she is on another in China all in the span on one month.

It’s all about control. The content of the internet must be purged of “offensive” materials and posts.

The Internet is a Universal Right. Therefore all subjects must purchase a subscription from a government approved provider or pay a tax.

And then the government will claim the power to monitor all data traffic.

This from an administration that spies on it’s own citizens through the internet.

What about the universal rights to privacy.

A universal right?

Of course.

And I would add a home in Beverly Hills and a Bentley in very garage to that list. Plus all the kale you can eat and a lifetime subscription to the Washington Post and ... and ... and
