NEWT GINGRICH: First lady, Senator, Secretary Clinton is very famous for being famous and as long as she can continue to be famous, she will be famous.
Now, you're in the middle of a mess in Russia, her reset, which by the way was mistranslated and actually said in Russian overcharge and had apparently been taken from a jacuzzi or a swimming pool from a Geneva hotel. The reset -- the fact is as Secretary of State, she reset our relationship with Russia so well that you currently have the occupation of Crimea and the potential occupation of Ukraine. So, Secretary Clinton on substance, the morning this race becomes about substance, she will start losing support literally overnight.

the morning this race becomes about substance, she will start losing support literally overnight.
Wow! When was the last time we had a Presidential Election about “substance”. It’s race, or entitlements, or racism, gay bashing....... I don’t see that changing.
In before all the shriveled pruneface Hillary pictures.
How many among the American voters value substance?
We make fun of the blacks and their so-called “leadership”, but we have the same sort of fools leading us.
Gingrich is on that list.
Young people are not enamored by her.
But who in the GOP will bring substance to the campaign? C’mon Newt, be real.
Newt may be making a mistake in thinking that 2016 will ever be about substance.
Look at the Clown currently in office. Empty suit city.
I agree completely.......substance had nothing to do with ‘08 and ‘12 - and the iPhone/Twitter crowd hasn’t a clue about what’s going on in the world.
They were dumbed down by a Marxist gov. education system to be only concerned with two things: self, and now.
For a second, I thought this was about Hillary! losing weight, literally, overnight.
I figured that would not be likely
“the morning this race becomes about substance, she will start losing support literally overnight.”
This country elects packaged “movie stars” now. Experience and intellect are way down the list.
“Hey Newt...if substance matters, there would be no Obama presidency.”
Perhaps. But Hillary is not black.
However, Hillary has little going for her but a fading political cachet and the fact that her election as president would be - all together now -'historic'. Voters did that once with Obama and may not want to gamble again following his tremendous disappointment for many young voters.
As always, Hillary's success or failure will have a lot to do with who the Republican party nominates. Another RINO and she likely wins it. A real conservative opponent and she may flounder and fail, as she should.
No worries. The LSM will make sure it’s NOT about substance. It’s gonna be about “First Woman President”, “Republican War on Women”, blah blah, blah, woman, woman, woman.
Substance?? We don’t need no steenkin’ substance!! We just be wantin’ our Obamaphones, Obamacare, Obamastamps, Obamawelfare — you know — free stuff — to continue.
Don't see 270 EVs in any GOP candidate's future. Is Virginia really still a swing state? Florida? And how much longer until the Hispanic plurality in Texas is old enough to vote?
This is my fear. They start with so many automatic states, by hook or by crook, it’s nauseating.
We lose 2016, and the courts are gone for at least one generation. Obama put our country in a coma; Hillary will come in and pull the plug.
Hillary, however, might - at least I hope - lose with Independents, not one to tackle Putin. I still recall the outcry about her opponent in a Senate race debate "invaded her space." What a wimp! Imagine somebody who whines about her space being invaded, facing Putin.
Then there is her meltdown as she yelled "What difference does it make?"
If handled the right way, she can be exposed for being weak and incompetent - in spite of MSM covering up for her.
“Substance”? The last two elections had nothing to do with it. It is now a pop culture popularity contest and the takers outnumber the makers.
You answered my question.
so newt figures that low information voters will sudenly make informed decisions?
“We lose 2016”
We will. The eGOP will see they run an even bigger dud than the last few.
can HRC walked unaided?
are there any recent photos of her,
that are close-ups, and not wearing glasses?
does her left eye move with her right eye?,
or does here left eye appear to be ‘painted on’?
I disagree. Newt’s contract with American in 1994 was one of most effective political strategies ever conceived. The result both the US House and Senate with Republican majorities.
Most of the Demomarxists are Substance Abusers.
Pray America wakes up
She won’t get majority of men, but she’ll get 77 percent of women voters and 94.5 percent of blacks, and 79 percent of Hispanics. Substance matters little, just the symbol. Hillary as first-woman president is all that counts. Just like the first black president.
We are doomed.
...but we have the same sort of fools leading us.
Gingrich is not my leader by any stretch of the imagination.
The eGOP will see they run an even bigger dud than the last few.
Jeb Amnesty Bush
And this happened in 2008 or 2012?
I think it will matter who the R party nominates...
“Jeb Amnesty Bush”
he’s already been anointed.
The LSM will make sure its NOT about substance. Its gonna be about First Woman President
That’s why we need Sarah Palin as our nominee. That would neuter the “DemorRATS are for women” issue. And, just picture the gorgeous Sarah standing on the same Debate stage side-by-side with Hillary.
Don’t see 270 EVs in any GOP candidate’s future. Is Virginia really still a swing state? Florida?
It’s boiled down to “Whoever wins Florida moves into the White House.” That’s where we are. And, I don’t see us winning FL unless we have an Hispanic surname on the ticket; preferably at the top. Cruz is a nice Hispanic surname. And, I know this will piss off a lot of FReepers, but Marco Rubio might be our only chance of winning Florida. (OK, I said it. Take your best shots. Just don’t throw dog doo doo at me.)
Newt actually said something useful for a change.
But instead of substance, the Partisan Media Shills and their blogging surrogates will go on a rampage of personal attacks on Gingrich.
Thanks Din Maker.
She wont get majority of men, but shell get 77 percent of women voters and 94.5 percent of blacks, and 79 percent of Hispanics.
OK, Blacks voting Democrat is a given. So then, let’s have a Latina woman for our candidate? How about the Governor of New Mexico; Susana Martinez. I’m serious.
Please see my Post #42.
“So then, lets have a Latina woman for our candidate?”
Wouldn’t matter. The takers didn’t even notice the black candidates for Republican. If they notice at all it is to claim they are not “black enough”. I can only imagine what they would claim of a Hispanic Republican.
The establishment Uniparty will go to any lengths to prevent a true conservative from being considered for president. I’m not defeated on the point, although its clear that our cause will need to strengthen by tenfold souls before we have any reasonable hope of getting Sarah or Ted or even Rand elected.
Thanks for the note about your posting.
Here however, Ms. Martinez says she will not run for Prez...
(people do change their minds, of course...)
True, but many people believe Hillary is a female and that is
worth a bunch since she is also a Dem’rat. My sense is that
once the media gets cranked up for the next prez campaign
Hilldebeast will be dubbed the queen of substance. One would think
that Newt who may be the most outspoken media critic
politician would have a grasp on that factoid.
Look for the MSM to oppose any one-on-one debates between the democratic party candidate and any conservative candidate, whether GOP or other party, to suppress topics of substance. Instead, the democratic party candidate will opt to be interviewed by a panel of MSM liberal lackeys, who will throw some softballs and worship the accomplishments of said candidate.
And in the few debates that are arranged by the MSM, the topics will be pre-selected and rigidly controlled by the liberal moderators (remember Candy whatshername) so as avoid substance.
Controversial topics such as the Bengazi (Libya) incident, any Muslim (sharia law) issues, the middle-East (Israel) peace negotiations, the IRS (tea party) cover-up, gun control (fast and furious treason) issues, Obamacare (lie, lie, lie, some more), national debt, etc. will be off-limits in the debates or interviews. Should any of these unavoidably present themselves to reflect negatively toward the democratic candidate’s position, the moderator will be more than happy to re-educate the viewers about the new living constitution and other outright lies if need be.
Look for global (human rights, climate change, imminent disaster) issues, the supposed recovering domestic economy (jobs creation, low inflation), immigration rights (for illegals), women’s rights issues, more black racism (stand your ground, voter-id) issues, and don’t forget the little children have rights issues. Expect to hear about prior administrations (Bush, Reagan, etc.) policy and the 1% capitalists caused all the current problems in the world.
The only conservative candidates invited to debate will be the soft-spoken or dummy ones, no hard-liners (now called terrorists) will be allowed. Definitely no strict constitutionalists and historical accuracy types need bother themselves with presenting any facts and truths. Also, no Capitalism vs. Marxism/socialism comparisons will be allowed.
Don’t bother to watch this bullsh*t. Too confusing for the lo-info voters (who can’t name one state much less all 57) and the rest of us (who are too angry about being repeatedly screwed-over).
Cruz-Martinez works for me too.
The best part of any Spanish surname ticket, is getting to way over-pronounce their names when talking to liberals. "Krrooooz-Rruuubeeoooh" with all R's trilled.
If Rubio is President, he will be the last Republican president ever.
