Russia is acting like Russia again. They have old claims over most of the Northwest.

Actualy the question is if NATO wants to start WWIV over Estonia.

WWIII was the Cold War. I used to think we won that one, but I am not sure anymore.

"What is with the Alaska comment? Do not even mention Alaska, not even. No."

If they even think of Alaska, either swap it for Brighton beach or deport ALL russians who arrived here after 1991.

and in Poland:

At least 7,000 reservists have been recalled to the colours for immediate exercises lasting between 10 and 30 days.

They're told by the Polish authorities that the call-ups are “routine”: but the men say they haven’t been asked before and they’re well aware of the growing alarm in Warsaw at President Putin’s aggression.

Zhirinovsky proposed Ukraine's Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia, Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rovensky regions, together with Poland, Romania and Hungary hold referendums on whether the regions should break away from Ukraine.

This is sick! This is pathetic!

These lands belonged to Poland indeed, however Poland was a multi-ethnic country, not homogeneous as it is today. For hundreds of years, the Polish, Ukrainian and Ruthenian nations lived in the shared state but, over the several past decades, their own national identities have gradually evolved.

So, the natural consequence of the choice is a territorial dispute since they lived together on the same land. So, if neglected, this inevitably turns into a serious conflict and even a civil war.

For instance, the city of Lvov (Ukr. Lviv) was purely Polish, where more than 90% was the Polish ethnicity. However, some 80% of the surrounding villages were Ukrainian.

So, all in all, any Russian attempts (proposals) to change territorial integrity of Poland and Ukraine is nothing but a sick provocation.

Asked for a comment to the Russian proposal, the Polish foreign minister, Radek Sikorski, said (my thoughts exactly), "It gives me amusement. That's all."

I had to read this twice!...Just where does Obam get of telling any nation where they put their troops....I agree that Ukraine should not be our business...let the EU and Russia hammer this one out...it's their cause not ours.

Hmmm. The UK is moving toward increasing Russian gas imports.
I’d say sell the stupid Brits Russian firewood instead.

“Putin has a point when he said the Communists repeatedly redrew national boundaries without paying attention to the ethnic composition of the population or national interests involved....Ukraine is an artificial state. I’ll be surprised if it lasts in its current form.”

Ironically, Russia is also an artificial state. I say Russia should be divided up. Especially the Western regions where great natural resources are deposited.

Then we have the Muslims in the Caucasus region. We could foment unrest throughout Mother Russia with ease. And it is likely being planned as we speak.

People forget, if they had the facts or deny if they would leave Obama out of the scenario, that Obama was known by the Russians and that the communist enclave in Chicago also knew that Obama was being primed for POTUSA.

The result of Obama calling Karzai a “thug.” Obama is so ideologically rooted in his own Rev. Wright black racial superiority coercive utopianism, that he could not even tolerate Ghadaffi, Mubarak or Karzai. Now Obama has lost ALL of these previous alliances and Vlad The Shirtless has essentially taken the Mediterranean as his personal bath tub, including Sevastapool. This is ths cost of electing Obama, a disciple of Rev. Ralph Wright. And “Doom on you” McCain wouldn’t even TALK about it in 2007...idjit!!!!!

Israel is in a very tough position now strategically. She is the nation to watch.

Obama has fail written all over him now. He should resign.

When the Muslims drive the last Jews out of Europe, the Nazis will have won World War II.

This is ths cost of electing Obama, a disciple of Rev. Ralph Wright...

That's Jeremiah Wright to you and I, who studied islam and mixed that up with some Black Liberation Theology...who married the Community Organizer in Chief to the woman who wants to tell you what to eat, and baptized their children. In whose 'church' stands a statue of W.E.B. Du Bois and Malcolm X, and a glass sculpture which I have read, apparently looks remarkably like the zero p.o.t.u.s...about whom Pooty-poot knows all he needs to know; where he came from, who his parents were and when he was born.

The only people who don't know who he is are the larger percentage of the citizens of your country. Zero has been punked, and it shows. Europe will now sort out some of it's artificial borders, and there's not a thing this adminsitration dares to do about it. After the destruction of Lybia at the hands of NATO in what was a War Crime, NATO is doomed anyway imo.

Agreed Fred. What do you think of the Mediterranean? I can see Sevastapool naval expansion and the Med becoming Putin’s personal bath tub.

Israel will also have to become Russia dependent in some ways. The USA is now in retreat both in Europe and the Med. The Straights of Hormuz will soo see America in decline from there too.The Saudi’s man child, Obama, has failed them too.

Russia and Iran are on the march. Mecca is trembling from the Shi-ite coming incursion.Thats the end game.

It will take 50 years and a war to regain what Obama has lost the USA.

Russia could do the same in the Southwest up to say, Kansas and Illinois.

Lots of Aztlan territory there.
